Het congresprogramma
kent als thema ‘Kinderen
en de Wervelkolom’. Zoals u bekend is, staan een aantal
onderdelen vast. De donderdag vangt aan met het
symposium Fundamenteel Onderzoek Orthopedie en
zal worden afgesloten met alweer de derde uitreiking
van de Professor Rik Huiskesprijs.
Wij zijn bijzonder verheugd dat Wouter Bos, voorzitter
van de Raad van Bestuur van het VU Medisch Centrum,
ons NOV Jaarcongres 2014 officieel zal openen met een
‘presidential guest lecture’. De inkomend voorzitter, en
huidige vicevoorzitter van de NOV, collega Henk Koot
zal op deze dag zijn Jaarrrede uitspreken.
In de middag zal een aantal Internationale gastsprekers
hun specifieke bijdragen leveren. Daarbij zijn ook de
voorzitters van onze zusterverenigingen binnen de
Nordic Orthopaedic Federation (NOF) en de voorzitters van onze zusterverenigingen van het Verenigd
Koninkrijk en Duitsland uitgenodigd. Juist daarom is er
voor gekozen om op donderdag Engels als voertaal te
gebruiken.
Ook het vrijdagprogramma kent een groot aantal zeer
interessante vrije voordrachten, overzichtslezingen
en natuurlijk onze Algemeen Ledenvergadering,
waarin ook de overdracht van het voorzitterschap zal

gevraagd voor de diverse sociale activiteiten. Het NOV
bestuur is ervan overtuigd u voor de donderdag- en
vrijdagavond een hoogwaardig sociaal programma te
kunnen aanbieden. Wij zijn benieuwd hoe u dit gaat

Polikliniek Assistenten
Thema: Kinderen en Wervelkolom

Wegens groot succes organiseert de NOV de zesde
editie van deze dag.
De secretaressen en polikliniek assistenten krijgen een
medisch inhoudelijk programma rondom het congres
thema ‘Kinderen en de Wervelkolom’ en diverse
NOV-werkgroepen en -commissies presenteren hun
projecten. Doelen van deze dag zijn dat de secretaressen en polikliniek assistenten zich nog meer betrokken
voelen bij hun werk en de orthopedie als medisch
specialisme; dat ze zich bewust zijn van het belang van
klantgerichtheid en van hun eigen rol in het behandel
succes van de patiënt.
De deelnemers worden geprikkeld tot interactie door
de workshop PROM’s en de dag sluit af met een Quiz
over de voordrachten.
