SECOND STAGE COMPLETION OF FIRST CALL FOR BIDS OF ROUND 1
14 EXPLORATION BLOCKS IN SHALLOW WATERS

The Bidding Guidelines for the first call for bids to award Production Sharing Contracts for
Exploration and Production of Hydrocarbons over 14 Shallow Water blocks were published on
December 11th 2014.
This bidding process consists of three stages:
First stage.
Second stage.
Third stage.
Application for data room access
(Deadline: March 17th 2015)
Prequalification
(May 25th 2015, Publication of list of prequalified participants)
Receiving and opening of bids
(July 15th 2015, Opening of bids and announcement of awardees)
On the second stage deadline, May 25th 2015, the National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH)
announces that 26 interested parties, individually or in consortia, obtained their prequalification
certificate, thereby earning the right to submit bids on July 15th, the day of the tender of 14
exploration blocks that comprise the first call for bids of Round 1.
