Rodrigo Novoa Urenda
Partner at Saldivia, Contreras, Inalaf, Würth & Verdugo Abogados since 2011. His practice
focuses on corporate, real estate, international and customs law. He is a member of the Board
of Directors at the National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade (NatLaw, Arizona, U.S.)
and serves as the institution’s representative in Chile. He is the Executive Director of the
NatLaw Chile / Derecho U. Mayor in Santiago.
Before that, he was an associate at Eluchans y Cía. (2006 - 2011), and foreign associate at
the law firms Arnold & Porter LLP - Washington, D.C. (August 2005-May 2006) and Winston
& Strawn LLP - Washington, D.C. (May-December 2006), participating actively in the areas of
international investment and institutional arbitration for investor protection.
He received his law degree from Universidad de los Andes and was admitted to practice in
Chile on September 5, 2001. He received a Master of International Trade Law from James
E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona (U.S.) (May 2005) and a certificate in
European Union Legislation and Institutions at Universidad de los Andes (December 2008).

He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and the International Bar Association. He
was appointed byGlobalLawExpert (GLS, www.globallawexperts.com) as the GLS’s only
recommended International Trade law expert in Chile.
