About COMIMSA
COMIMSA is a technological center that coordinated to CONACYT,
created at the ends of 1991 based on the physical and human
infrastructure that belonged to IMIS (Instituto Mexicano de
Investigaciones Siderúrgicas)
COMIMSA has developed a contemporary
action curse, that allows the corporation
to operate not only with financial
independence but also with an important
network with the industrial, academic and
research sector.
About the congress
The congress aimed at setting up a platform to exchange the trending
technologies and advances in welding, industrial engineering and
manufacturing.
In compliance with the most important international technology leaders,
International WIEM (Welding, Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing)
Congress would support and promote visibility for local enterprises creating
meaningful networks between companies, research centers and suppliers.
In COMIMSA projects are developed to solve industrial problems; besides from
seeking opportunities for participation with foreign institutions and
enterprises to strengthen both the industrial and the academic sector.
Objective
Bring together the most important users, experts,
institutions, national and international research
centers to analyze and spread the technological
needs within the welding, industrial engineering
and manufacturing field.
