PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA ADMISIÓN DE ESTUDIANTES DE INTERCAMBIO EN LA
UNIVERSIDAD EUROPEA 2015/16
El presente procedimiento describe los pasos a seguir para solicitar la admisión como estudiante de
intercambio en la Universidad Europea. Si tienes cualquier duda sobre el proceso contacta a
[email protected] o [email protected].
Antes de solicitar admisión es importante tener en cuenta que, excepto en dos casos, en la Universidad
Europea todas las titulaciones de grado tienen calendario trimestral. Las dos únicas titulaciones que
mantienen un calendario semestral son Grado en Medicina y Grado en Odontología.

NOMINACIÓN
En primer lugar, la universidad de origen debe nominar a todos los estudiantes seleccionados para el
programa de intercambio. Las nominaciones se enviarán a [email protected].
Fechas límite para nominaciones:
Trimestre 1, Semestre 1 y curso completo:
15 de mayo 2015
Trimestres 2 y 3 y Semestre 2:
15 de octubre de 2015
* Todas las titulaciones son trimestrales excepto Grado en Medicina y Grado en Odontología
Los alumnos que no estén nominados antes de la fecha límite no serán admitidos.

SOLICITUD ONLINE
Si la universidad ya ha enviado sus nominaciones, el estudiante debe completar una solicitud online de
admisión en el siguiente enlace:

Para realizar esta solicitud hay que registrarse. La contraseña debe contener al menos 8 caracteres,
incluyendo letras, números y caracteres especiales (./-@...).
Además de introducir sus datos personales, el alumno deberá hacer una selección de asignaturas.
IMPRESCINDIBLE SEGUIR LAS INDICACIONES DE LA SECCIÓN 3.

También hay que adjuntar los siguientes documentos (la propia solicitud los pide en una de sus secciones):
a. Copia del pasaporte.
b. Prueba de nivel de idioma (sólo si la lengua materna del estudiante no es español).
i. Estudiantes de Ciencias de la Salud o Biomédicas: aportar una prueba de nivel B2 de
español.
ii. Resto de estudiantes: aportar una prueba de nivel de B1 de español.
c. Certificado académico de notas.

Los datos personales deben estar completos tal y como aparecen en el pasaporte.
Al finalizar la solicitud aparecerá un archivo PDF que se deberá guardar.
No es necesario enviar la solicitud por e-mail o correo postal.
No se aceptará ninguna solicitud después del 31 de mayo para el T1, S1 o curso completo, y después
del 31 de octubre para el T2, T3, S2.
La Oficina Internacional dará una respuesta a todas las solicitudes antes del final de junio de 2015.
SELECCIÓN DE ASIGNATURAS
1. Descargar en el catálogo provisional de asignaturas disponibles en el siguiente enlace:

2. Las asignaturas del catálogo están clasificadas por facultades.
3. Los estudiantes deberán seleccionar sus asignaturas en la sección “Selección de asignaturas” de la
solicitud online.

NOTAS IMPORTANTES:

Existe la posibilidad de obtener 6 ECTS adicionales en T1 y/o T3 matriculando cursos de español
intensivos de pago antes de inicio de clases. Toda la información sobre fechas, matriculación y
precios se incluirá en la guía para estudiantes internacionales que recibirán todos los estudiantes
aceptados.

No podemos garantizar que haya plaza en la asignatura solicitada o que los horarios de dichas
asignaturas serán compatibles. Por ello, recomendamos que se seleccionen al menos 5 asignaturas
más de las necesarias en la solicitud online.
Es importante tener en cuenta que esto es una solicitud de matrícula. El Departamento de
Matriculación se pondrá en contacto con todos los estudiantes para confirmar la lista de asignaturas
definitiva antes de final de agosto de 2015.
ADMISIÓN EN LA UNIVERSIDAD EUROPEA DE MADRID
1. Todos los estudiantes aceptados recibirán una confirmación junto con guía completa para
estudiantes internacionales en junio de 2015.
2. A su llegada a UEM los estudiantes deberán presentar los siguientes documentos en la Oficina
Internacional:
a. Solicitud on-line impresa y firmada.
b. Copia de la póliza de seguro médico.
c. Pasaporte original.

Please note that Bachelor’s Degree programs at UEM are run on a Trimester basis. Exceptions: Bachelor’s
Degree in Medicine and Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry (Semester basis)

NOMINATION
First of all, the home institution should nominate all selected exchange students. Nominations should be
sent to: [email protected].
Deadlines for nominations:

Any students nominated after these deadlines will not be accepted.

ONLINE APPLICATION
After being nominated, students should fill out our online application form at the following the link:

To complete the online application, students need to register first. The password must contain at least 8
characters, including letters, numbers and special characters (./-@...).
Besides entering all personal details, students need to complete a selection of courses. Please follow
instructions in SECTION 3
Students must attach the following documents (as requested in one of the sections of the application form):
a. Photocopy of passport.
b. Spanish level test (if Spanish is not the student’s first language).
a. Students of Health Sciences or Biomedical Sciences: B2 language proficiency level in Spanish.
b. All other students: B1 language proficiency level in Spanish.

c. Transcript of Records.

All personal details provided must be exactly as stated in the student’s passport.
Once the application form has been completed, a PDF file will be generated. This PDF file should be
saved on the student’s computer.
It is not necessary to send the application form by email or regular mail.
No application form will be accepted after May 31 for Trimester 1, Semester 1 or the full academic
year, and after October 31 for Trimester 2, Trimester 3 or Semester 2.
The International Office will reply to all applicants before the end of June 2015.

3. Students must choose their courses under section “Courses selection” of the online application
form.
Number of credits must be selected according to duration of stay at UE Madrid
Bachelor’s Degrees run on a trimester basis:

Students can earn an additional 6 ECTS in Trimester 1 and/or Trimester 3 by enrolling on an
Intensive Spanish Course (and paying an extra fee) before starting classes. All information about
dates, course enrollment and prices will be included in the Guide for Incoming Students that all
accepted students will receive.
We cannot guarantee that there will be a place on the selected course or that course timetables will
be compatible. Therefore, students are advised to select at least 5 more courses than necessary and
to fill out the courses selection form.
It is important to remember that this is an enrollment application. The Office of Enrollment Services
will contact all students to confirm the definitive list of courses before the end of August 2015.

ADMISSION TO UNIVERSIDAD EUROPEA DE MADRID
1. All accepted students will receive confirmation of admission together with a comprehensive Guide
for Incoming Students in June 2015.
2. After arriving at UEM, students should present the following documents at the International Office:
a. Printed and signed online application form.
b. Photocopy of health insurance policy.
c. Original passport.
