Our coachtour takes you along the magnificant St. Michaels’ cathedral towards the
Laeken district : we see the Royal Residence, the Chinese Pavillion, the Japenese
Tower and the world-famous Atomium. The tour continues with the national Basilica
of Koekelberg, with its splendid art-deco interiors. Located on a hill, the enormous
building is one of the most imposing churches in the world. Two lifts take you some
53 meters up from where you will have a breathtaking panoramic view of the city
(entrance fee included). Taking you back to the city center, we drive along Congresscolumn towards the stately Place Royale, the Sablon district with its elegant stores
selling beautiful antiques, and the impressive Law Courts. Then we reach the Royal
Palace and the European district with the impressive buildings and offices of the European Parliament, the European Commission and Council of Ministers. In the park of
the Jubilee you will marvel at the monumental Triumphal Arch and some excellent
examples of Art Nouveau houses. Passing the Royal Parc and the Belgian Parliament
we drive back to the city center : our tour ends on the beautiful Grand’ Place where
our guide tells us the history of the unique city hall and of the splendid guildhouses.

Nous commençons notre visite en passant par la splendide cathédrale Saint-Michel
pour nous diriger vers le quartier Laeken : nous voyons la Résidence Royale, le pavillon chinois et la tour japonaise et arrivons devant l’ Atomium, mondialement connu.
Nous nous dirigeons maintenant vers la Basilique Nationale de Koekelberg, avec son
intérieur art-deco splendide, et nous montons grâce à une succession de 2 ascenseurs à 53 mètres au-dessus du sol pour admirer une vue panoramique splendide
sur la ville (visite incluse). Nous regagnons le centre ville, et nous passons la colonne
du Congrès, le quartier du Sablon avec ses nombreux antiquaires et arrivons devant
l’impressionnant Palais de Justice. En passant par la Place Royale et le Palais Royal,
nous rentrons dans le quartier Européen avec les batiments du Parlement Européen, du Conseil des Ministres et de la Commission. Puis nous arrivons au Parc du
Cinquantenaire avec son imposant Arc de Triomphe et ses splendides maisons d’Art
Nouveau. Nous finalisons notre circuit en passant devant le Parlement Belge pour terminer notre tour sur la très belle ‘Grandplace’, où notre guide vous explique l’histoire
du fabuleux Hôtel de Ville et des maisons de corporations.

Empezamos nuestra visita de la capital en autocar de lujo y pasamos ante la espléndida Catedral de Saint-Michel y nos dirigimos hacia Laeken con la Residencia
Real de Laeken, el curioso Pabellón Chino, la Torre japonesa y el famose Atomium.
Seguidamente vamos hacia la basilica Nacional de Koekelberg, un de las mayors
eglesias del Mondo y con su interior de estilo art-deco muy bella. Via 2 ascensores llegamos al Domo con su vista maravilloso de Bruselas (acceso includo). Volvemos al centro de la ciudad y pasamos la Columna del Congresso y el barrio del
Sablon, con sus múltiples anticuarios y llegamos al monumental Palacio de Justicia.
Despues cruzalosos la solemne Plaza Real y el Palacio Real y visitamos el Corazon
Europeo con su Parlemento, el Edificio de la Comision y del Consejo de ministros.
En los alrededores del Parque du Cincuentenario, con su gran Arco del Triunfo y sus
extraordinarios museos, también descubrimos algunas casas soberbias de estilo
Art Nouveau. Terminamos nuestra visita con coche pasando delante del Parco Real
y el Parlamento Belga. La Final de nuestra visita es un paseo por la preciosa “Grand

überwältigenden Europa Viertel, mit dem Eurpäischen Parlement, den Kommissionsgebäuden und dem Ministerrat. Im Jubelpark staunen Sie vor dem Triumpfbogen
und vor den einmaligen Jugendstilhäusern. Wir zeigen Ihnen noch den eleganten

After an hour’s drive, we arrive in GHENT and visit St Bavo’s Cathedral, home of the
world famous late medieval “Mystic Lamb” painting (optional visit, closed on Sundays).
During the city tour you will see all important ancient buildings for which the city
is so famous: the Belfry, St Nicholas’ Church and the famous Graslei with its historic
buildings, the fortified castle of the Count of Flanders. Next we take you to BRUGES,
where we first visit the dreamy Lake of Love and the beguinage where you can find
peace and quiet. Time for lunch. Afterwards we start our walking tour and discover all
the highlights of the city: Saint John’s Hospital, Our Lady’s Church with the statue by
Michelangelo (optional), the Market Square with the Belfry and the medieval Chapel
of the Holy Blood. Don’t forget your walking shoes though! You can also enjoy an optional but ever so nice boat tour along Bruges’ picturesque canals.

peintre du 17ième siècle repute mondialement. Nous arrivons à la vieille forteresse
de la ville où nous débutons notre promenade en passant par la “Maison de
la Viande” vers la Grand’Place avec ses anciennes maisons, l’hôtel de ville et la
Cathédrale Notre-Dame (entrée incluse). Cette cathédrale contient aussi, parmi
ses trésors, 4 oeuvres de Rubens: “l’Erection et la Descente de Croix, l’Ascension
de la vierge et la Résurrection”. Temps libre dans le centre. Après nous prenons
le bus vers l’entrée du port et vers le nouveau musée MAS : nous pouvons avoir

Hier beginnen wir unsere Wanderung entlang dem Fleischhaus zum Marktplatz mit den mittelalterlichen Prunkhäusern und der eindrucksvollen Liebfrauenkathedrale (Eintritt im Preis enthalten). Die Kathedrale herbergt zahllose
Kunstwerke aber besonders eindrucksvoll sind 4 Meisterwerke von Rubens : die
Kreuzaufrichtung und Kreuzabnahme. Maria Himmelfahrt und die Auferstehung
Christi. Freizeit in der Stadtmitte. Weiter mit unseren Bus zum neues MAS-museum.
Hier haben wir ein wunderschönen Ausblick vom 9. Stock auf den Hafen. In dem
Diamantenpavillon können Sie staunen über die Edelsteine : Antwerpen ist das
Diamantzentrum der Welt. Eingang zum Panorama ist frei aber am Montag geschlossen. Nachher fahren wir wieder nach Brüssel.

We leave Brussels in the direction of the German Military Cemetery of Vladslo,
where Käthe Kollwitz Sculptures of the “Grieving Parents” is very moving. Then
to the small city of Diksmuide where we visit the “Trench of Death”. We see the
very impressive “Gate of Peace” and the Ijzertower. Passing along the Peace Mill,
Houthulst and the Canadian Monument in St. Julien we arrive in Paschendaele/
Langemark, where during terrible battles uncountable numbers of man have
been killed. Time for cheese bread meal in the old cheese factory. Then we visit the
famous Commonwealth cemetery of TYNE COT, where some 35.000 man lay at
rest. Further to the ST CHARLES POTYZE French military cemetery with its Calvaire,
honouring more than 4000 French casualties. Then we arrive at ESSEX FARM- former field hospital. Here John Mc Crae wrote his famous poem “In Flanders Fields”.
We are now close to Ypres, where we visit the UNESCO-listed museum of “in Flanders Fields” that is situated in the world famous Cloth Hall. Along Hell Fire corner
we arrive at Hill 60, so famous for the “tunneling” war and the Caterpillar Crater, that
we visit. A short drive brings us back to Ypres, where you have free time for dinner.
At 8 pm sharp we attend the moving LAST POST CEREMONY at the Menin gate.
After the end, we immediately drive back to Brussels, where we arrive at around
10.00 pm. The bread meal lunch in Passendaele and the entrance to the “Flanders
Fields museum” in Ypres are INCLUDED.

Wir fahren in die Richtung des Deutsches Soldatenfriedhof in Vladslo, wo die
Bilder von Käthe Kollwitz “Die trauernden Eltern” wirklich angreifend sind. In das
malerischen Städtchen Diksmuide, besuchen wir den “Totengang”, wo Soldaten
unter harten Bedingungen kämpften. Wir sehen auch das sehr beeindruckendes
“Friedenstor” und der Ijzerturm. Weiter entlang die Friedensmühle, Houthulst
und das Kanadisches Denkmal in St. Juliaan nach Passendale, wo während der
schrecklichen Kämpfe Tausende Opfer gefallen sind. Hier erwartet uns eine Brotmahlzeit in einer alten Käserei. Nachher besuchen wir den berühmten TYNE COT
Commonwealth Friedhof, wo 35.000 Solden ruhen. Unsere nächste Haltestelle
ist den Französischen Militär Friedhof von St Charles Potyze: hier ruhen mehr als
4000 Französen. Dann kommen wir bei das ehemaligen Lazarett, die Essex Farm,
an. Hier schrieb John Mc Crae sein berühmtes Gedicht “In Flanders Fields”. Wir
sind sofort in Ypern: wir besuchen das UNESCO Welterbe Museum “In Flanders
Fields Museum” das in die berühmten mittelalterliche Tuchhalle ist. Das lätzte Besuch is tan Hill 60 vorgesehen, wo die Gegner sich gegenseitig via Tunnelbauten
voll mit explosiven bekämpften. Zurück nach Ypres wo Sie Zeit zum Abendessen
haben. Wir erleben um punkt 20.00 Uhr am Menin Tor die LAST POST Zeremonie

We need 90 min to reach the US cemetery of HENRI-CHAPELLE, where almost 8000
GI’s lay at rest. Then we continue along the north-eastern front line of the Battle of the
Bulge and admire in BULLINGEN/BUDGENBACH the monument honouring the fierce
resistance of THE BIG RED ONE, so important to delay the German offensive. At Malmedy/Baugné we are honouring the 84 American Prisoners, murdered by the SS. After a
lunch at leisure in Stavelot, we call at the famous Königstiger tank in La Gleize. Our next
stop is the German military cemetery of RECOGNE, here are buried almost 7000 man.
We drive through Foy…where a few partially remaining foxholes are still slightly visible.
We stop at the monument remembering the military killed here, and soon we arrive at
the famous MARDASSON memorial, at the outskirts of Bastogne. After having visited the
memorial, you will visit the new BASTOGNE WAR MUSEUM (entrance included). In Bastogne, we do a brief stop at the central Square with the bust of General Mc Auliffe and a
little further, we have the monument famous General Patton. We continue our tour and
arrive in La Roche with its medieval castle and the British destroyer tank. Via Marche we
drive straight to the outskirts of Dinant. The Rocher Bayard at the river Meuse was the
ultimate point of the German Offensive. Through the nice Meuse-valley back to Brussels.

Hier ruhen fast 8000 GI’s. Dann fahren wir weiter entlang der Nord-östlichen Frontlinie der Ardennenoffensive und bewundern in Büllingen/Baugné das Denkmal zur
Erinnerung an den heftigen Widerstand der BIG RED ONE, der die deutsche Offensive
verzörgerte. Bei Malmedy/Baugné huldigen wir die 84 amerikanischen Gefangenen,
die von der SS ermordet wurden. Nach dem freien Mittagessen in Stavelot kommen
wir dem berühmten Königstiger-Tank in La Gleize an. Unsere nächste Haltestelle is der
deutsche Soldatenfriedhof in RECOGNE, wo fast 7000 Männer begraben liegen. Wir
fahren durch Foy und sehen die Schützengrabe. Als nächstes kommt das berühmte MARDASSON Memorial in der Nähe von Bastogne. Nach einem Besuch der Gedenkstätte, besuchen wir das neue BASTOGNE WAR MUSEUM (Eintritt einbegriffen).
In Bastogne halten wir kurz an dem Marktplatz. Dann erreichen wir La Roche mit der
mittelalterlichen Burg und dem britischen destroyer-Panzer. Über Marche fahren wir
Richtung Dinant und sehen den Bayardfelsen an dem Maasfluss. Bis hier stiess die
deutsche Armee durch. Entlang dem schönen Maastal fahren wir nach Lustin und
über die Autobahn geht es weiter nach Brüssel.

réposent près de 8000 GI’s. Nous poursuivons vers la limite Nord-Est de l’ancienne
ligne de front. A Büllingen/Butgenbach, nous admirons le monument dédié à la division d’infanterie Big Red One (litt. Grand Un Rouge), dont la résistance opiniâtre fut
décisive pour retarder l’offensive allemande. A Malmedy/Baugné, nous honorons la
mémoire des 84 prisonniers américains executes par les SS. Après Le déjeuner libre,
prévu à Stavelot, nous nous arrêtons devant le célèbre char Königstiger (Tigre Royal) à
la Gleize. L’arrêt suivant concerne le cimetière militaire allemand de Recogne, où près
de 7000 hommes sont enterrés. Près de Foy, sur la ligne de front pendant le siège de
Bastogne, où on distingue encore partiellement quelques trous d’homme à la frange
du bois. Nous sommes près du célèbre monument du Mardasson, à quelques kms.
de Bastogne. Après la visite de Bastogne, vous avez la possibilité de découvrir le tout
nouveau BASTOGNE WAR MUSEUM. Nous ferons un court arrêt au centre-ville, place
Mac-Auliffe, ou se trouve un buste du général et, non loin de là est situé le monument
du célèbre général Patton. Nous poursuivons ensuite notre route vers La Roche. Nous
traversons Marche pour atteindre les abords de Dinant. Le rocher Bayard, donnant sur
la Meuse fut le point le plus avancé de l’offensive allemande . Nous suivons la splendide vallée de la Meuse et puis l’autoroute qui nous ramène à Bruxelles. L’entrée au

Holland is only at a stone’s throw away and nevertheless the country is strikingly different. Passing the city of Antwerp, we cross the Dutch border and driving
through the endless polders with typical windmills we reach the Amsterdam area
after a 3 hrs drive. First we visit a traditional crafts centre and get familiar with all
that makes the glory of Holland : tasty cheese, wooden clogs and beautiful pottery. Then, following the river Amstel, we make a photo stop at one of those giant
windmills. Driving directly to the center of Amsterdam we pass the Dutch National
Bank and the famous Heineken brewery, we will offer you the opportunity to make
an optional boat tour along the many picturesque canals (optional). From here, we
go to the famous Damsquare, where our guide will make a walking tour along the
Royal Palace of the Dam, the red light area along the canals, the house of Anne
Frank, the shopping streets. Time free. We leave Amsterdam at 6.15 pm. And drive
back to Brussels.
Un país tan cercano y sin embargo tan diferente. Pasando por Anvers cruzamos
la frontera holandesa y seguimos nuestra ruta recorriendo el llano país, sus pólderes y sus típicos molinos de viento. Después de 3 horas de carretera, y a pocos
kilómetros de Amsterdam, llegamos a una granja de queso típica donde conoceremos los secretos del queso incluyendo una pequeña degustación. Inmediatamente nos dirigimos al río Amstel parando en un molino de viento renovado
para hacer alguna foto. Llegamos directamente al centro de Amsterdam pasando por el Banco Nacional de los Países Bajos y la famosa cervecería Heineken.
Aquí, opcionalmente, podrán recorrer en barco los canales de Amsterdam. Después nos dirigimos hacia el centro de la diudad y el Dam. El guía les acompañará
hasta el corazón de la ciudad pasando por el Palacio Real del Dam, el barrio rojo
al lado de los canales, la casa de Ana Frank, sus calles y tiendas. Salimos de Amsterdam hacia las 18:15 con destino a Bruselas y llegada prevista hacia las 21:30h.

Un pays tout proche et tout différent. En passant par Anvers nous traversons la
frontière hollandaise et continuons notre route en parcourant le plat pays, ses
polders et ses moulins à vent typiques. Après 3 hrs de route, et à peine à qq. kms
d’Amsterdams, nous arrivons à une ferme de fromage typique où nous sommes
introduits dans les secrets de la fromagerie, petite dégustation. Nous partons en
suivant la rivière Amstel et nous faisons un arrêt photo à un Moulin à vent renové.
Nous sommes directement au centre d’ Amsterdam en passant par la Banque
Nationale des Pays-Bas et la brasserie fameuse de Heineken. Ici vous pouvez
embarquer pour un tour en bateau optionnel le long des canaux à Amsterdam.
Alors, nous nous rendons vers le centre ville et le Dam. Le guide fait avec vous une
promenade dans le coeur de ville par le Palais Royal du Dam, le quartier rouge
le long des canaux, la maison Anne Frank, les rues et magasins de shopping.
Nous quittons Amsterdam vers 18.15 pour être de retour à Bruxelles vers 21.30

It takes a 3Hrs drive to arrive in Luxembourg, the capital of the Grand Duchy. Our
guide takes you to the many historic sites of the city, both in the upper and lower
part of the city. The picturesque historical town, the cathedral, the palace of the
Grand Duke and the Place des Armes. During our walk towards to the lower part
of the city you will have an excellent view on the most important buildings of
the EU located on the plateau of Kirchberg. Once in the valley you will admire
the imposing fortifications and kazemates, the historic abbey of Neumünster, the
Wenceslaswall and you will enjoy the beautiful setting on the Alzette river. Before
leaving, you have free time in the city center. Through the green hills of the Belgian
Ardennes we drive to Bastogne. During Christmas 1944 the town was the site of
the worst battle between the allied (American) and German forces. We visit the
Mardasson-memorial. After a stop at the Mac Auliffe square, we return to Brussels.

Bastogne, lugar de la batalla mas fuerte entre los fuerzas Americanas y Alemanas
à navidad 1944. Visitamos el memorial del Mardasson y un ultimo parada a la
plaza Mac-Auliffe antes la salida a destino de Bruselas.

Il nous faut 3 heures pour atteindre Luxembourg, la capitale du Grand-Duché
du Luxembourg. Notre guide nous montre les sites historiques de la ville basse
et haute. La vieille ville haute avec la cathédrale, le palais du Grand Duc, la Place
des Armes. Pendant notre promenade vers la ville basse nous avons une vue
excellente sur le plateau du Kirchberg avec les bâtiments des institutions Européennes. Une fois dans la vallée, nous admirerons les importantes casemates, les
fortifications, l’abbaye de Neumünster, le mûr de Wenceslas et le site pittoresque
le long de la rivière l’Alzette. Avant le retour vers Bruxelles, vous disposez de
temps libre dans le centre-ville. A travers la campagne verdoyante des Ardennes
belges, nous arrivons à Bastogne. A Noël 1944, cette ville fut le lieu d’une des plus
violentes batailles de la guerre entre les troupes Alliés (Américains) et Allemands.
Nous visitons le mémorial du Mardasson et faisons un dernier arrêt sur la place
Mac-Auliffe avant notre retour vers Bruxelles.

of the famous reporter TINTIN. Today, a special museum is dedicated to the hero TINTIN
and his intellectual father, the writer Hergé. Come and taste this unique experience in
the magic world of the Comics, where you can live back your own youth and where
children can discover the unique universe of comics made by Hergé. Discover the fabulous work of one of the greatest artists through his drawings, original boards, parts
of films, pictures etc. We need 45 min to drive to the museum, situated a little outside
