KANSAI TRAVEL EXPLANATION
関西内の遠征旅行の監督及び承諾について
セイバーズのハイスクール、ミドルスクールのチームは、関西地方の他の学校に試合の
ために行くことがあります。大抵土曜日ですが、金曜日の場合もあります。試合の開始、
終了時間や場所などについての詳細情報を事前に生徒と共有します。保護者に内容を伝
えてください。この情報はセイバーズ・ウェブサイトの（Sabers Google calendar）で
も入手できます。
Sabers high school and middle school teams travel to other schools in the Kansai area
for competitions on Saturdays, sometimes on Fridays. Competition information, including
start and finish times and location, will be given to students in advance to share with
parents. This information is also on the Sabers Google calendar on the Sabers website.
通常、SOISは遠征のために貸し切りバスを提供しません。バスの手配が困難で費用がか
さむためです。また、多くの生徒にとって自宅の方向に試合のために行くのに、バスに
乗るために一度学校で集合することが不都合だからです。
よって、セイバーズの生徒、主にハイスクールの生徒は個別にまたは少人数のグループ
で、カナディアン・アカデミー（六甲アイランド、神戸市）やマリスト・ブラザーズ・
インターナショナル・スクール（須磨区、神戸市）などの学校に大人の監督なしに公共
交通機関を使って行くことがあります。
In general, SOIS does not provide bus transportation for Sabers sports teams due to
high cost and lack of bus availability. Also, for many students, it is inconvenient to come all
the way to school to get on a bus only to travel back in the direction toward their homes.
So, often, Sabers students, particularly high school students, travel on their own or in
small groups via public transportation to schools such as Canadian Academy (Rokko
Island, Kobe) and Marist Brothers International School (Suma, Kobe) without adult
supervision.
ハイスクールの生徒は、コーチに遠征先の学校で会います。SOISでは国内の学校への異
動でハイスクールの生徒に、移動中に大人の監視はつきません。また、保護者からの
承諾も必要ありません。
High school students are expected to meet the coaches at the away school. There is no
SOIS adult supervision of high school students as they travel to and from local schools;
no travel permission from parents is required.

ミドルスクールのコーチは常に生徒と集合して、遠征先の学校まで一緒に行かなければ
いけません。集合場所は北千里駅や千里中央駅、または阪急梅田駅のビッグマン・スク
リーンの前などです。しかし、生徒全員が決められた集合場所で会うことは都合が悪い
場合もあるので、試合が開かれる学校に公共交通機関や個人の車で直接行っても構いま
せん。ただし、ミドルスクールの生徒は、保護者承諾書parent permissionで承諾されて
いる場合のみ可能です。
Middle school coaches always make arrangements to meet students to travel with them
to away schools. Typical meeting places include Kita-Senri station, Senri-Chuo station, or
the Big Man screen at the Hankyu Umeda station. However, it is not always convenient
for all students to meet at the designated meeting places. Therefore, some students
prefer to travel on their own directly to and from the away school, via public transportation
or by private car. For middle school students, this is allowed only if there is parent
permission.
保護者は、オンラインの保護者承諾書 parent permission form で、関西地方で開かれるセイバ
ーズのイベントに参加するために自分で移動することを承認するか否かの意思表示をして、提出
してください。
保護者承諾書は初回の練習までに提出されなければいけません。未提出の書類がある生徒は練習
に参加できません。
Parents must indicate on the online parent permission form whether or not they
give their children permission to travel to and from Sabers events in the Kansai
area on their own. Please submit this form with care.
The parent permission form must be submitted before the first practice; a student will not
be allowed to participate until he/she submits all required forms.
ミドルスクールのコーチは各家庭に、遠征旅行を伴う試合のスケジュールを説明した案内を配布
します。保護者は承諾書に署名し、生徒はコーチにそれを提出してください。
Middle school coaches send letters home explaining the schedule for away competitions;
students must bring back a return permission slip signed by a parent.
通常生徒は自宅を朝早く出発し、帰宅は午後遅く、または夕方になります。時に、生徒がコーチ
の監督外で夕食を外食とすることを希望しますが、ミドルスクールの生徒は保護者の承諾を得な
ければいけません。ミドルスクールのコーチは、保護者による事前承諾がない限りは（生徒によ
る口頭での希望のみでは）生徒が単独で移動することを認めません。
Usually, students need to depart from their homes very early in the morning and return to
their homes late in the afternoon or early evening. Sometimes, students like to go out for
dinner after an event unsupervised by the coaches. Middle school students must have
parent permission to do this. Middle school coaches will not accept a student’s verbal
request to travel alone if parent permission has not been previously given.
