CIF - AUSTRIA COUNCIL OF INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP Change through Exchange - Broaden your horizon! When? April 23rd 2015 Where? FH Campus Wien, Favoritenstraße 226, 1100 Wien, Room B.E.03 The event starts at 17.30 and ends at 20.30. This time we have participants from Turkey, Spain, India, Greek, Kyrgyzstan, Scotland and Austria who are working in the following areas. Selim (Turkey): social worker in a Hospital Agustin (Spain): community social worker Shilpa (India): social worker, lecturer and trainer Venetia (Greek): early childhood pedagogue Aizada (Kyrgyzstan): social projects development officer Iain D Turnbull MA (Hons); Dip SW/Dip HE; PG Cert. Comm. Ed; Cert. PT (Scotland): Lecturer in Social Work DSA Manuela Hausegger, MA (Austria): social worker, youth welfare (mag elf) Beside these participants, students and other members of the university will join the event, as well as members from C.I.F.A. and interested social workers. Once we have gathered and grabbed a cup of coffee we will listen to an opening address by FH-Prof.in Dr.in Barbara Bittner (FH Campus Wien) and Judith Lamatsch (C.I.F.A.). After a short video clip, visualizing and explaining the organization C.I.F., Mr. Turnbull from Scotland will give a speech about international exchange and the value for students and practitioners. Furthermore Manuela Hausegger will refer to her master thesis. In this context she will talk about chances, motives & outcomes of the participation in international exchange programs for Austrian social work professionals. There will be time to discuss and ask questions in between. We will have a break and afterwards we will get an introduction of the participants mentioned above. Then we will get together in a world café to exchange our thoughts and interests. We would really like you to join us and create a nice and interesting evening!
