The fashion class at the University of Applied Arts Vienna under the direction of Hussein
Chalayan will be presenting the latest collections produced by its graduates and students.

High profile jury at Show Angewandte 2015
As every year a highprofile jury is going to evaluate the works of the graduates 2015 of the
fashion department. The renowned jury is consisting of the following experts:

Within the framework of the Show Angewandte 15 the Fred-Adlmüller-Stipendium, the Rondo
Vöslauer Fashion Award and the Indie Magazine Award will be presented. The FredAdlmüller-Stipendium is endowed with 2700,- euros, the Rondo Vöslauer Fashion Award with
3000,- euros und the publishing of t he collection at ‚Der Standard Rondo‘. The Indie
Magazine Award also contains the publishing of the winning-collection.

Fashion design training on top-level - since autumn 2014 headed by Hussein Chalayan
The fashion class at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna is the only one in Austria
offering a university-level diploma in the field of fashion design. The university is one of the
leading European centers for training in contemporary fashion worldwide. Since October
2014 the fashion department of the Angewandte has been headed by international designer
Hussein Chalayan.
