About the conference:
From 27 to 29 May 2015, leading international experts from the waste and resource management
sector will be gathering in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria, for the ISWA Beacon Conference
on Waste Prevention and Recycling: Resources and Responsibility.
The focus of this conference will be on re-use, circular economy and extended producer responsibility. Best practice examples of re-use schemes in three European countries will be presented.
Furthermore a comprehensive picture of the current situation of circular economy will be given.
Three sessions are dedicated to the theme of EPR, covering different issues and challenges and
dealing with various fractions.
At this event you will meet top-class speakers, high ranking representatives from governments, senior officials, CEOs and senior executives from public and private waste companies and high level
representatives from the scientific sector coming from all over the world.
A high class social event hosted by the city of Vienna and exclusive site visits will complete the
