Euro-Asiáticos de Músicos 2015
Un concierto que refleja el trabajo llevado a cabo
durante una semana marcada por el intercambio sociocultural entre músicos chinos y canarios. Este proyecto participativo entre distintas asociaciones euro
asiáticas tiene como finalidad descubrir, fomentar y
mostrar la música como lenguaje universal, donde
jóvenes de nuestra tierra se comunican a través de
este bonito arte con músicos procedente del otro extremo del planeta. Una propuesta novedosa que se
presenta por medio de un programa singular cargado
de emoción y energía. Un concierto muy dinámico y
con destellos de espectacularidad, un planteamiento
tímbrico diferente y contrastante con la línea que solemos escuchar en conciertos de este tipo pero sin
perder la bonita esenciaque rodea a nuestras bandas
de música.

2015 Euro-Asian Musicians Festival
A concert that reflects the work carried out during a
week marked by socio-cultural exchanges between
Chinese and Canary Islands musicians. This participatory project between Euro-Asian partnerships aims
to discover, promote and show music as a universal
language, where young people of the Canary Islands
can communicate with musicians from distant lands.
It is an innovative offering presented via a sensational programme that is unique and energetic. A highly
dynamic concert, bordering on the spectacular, with a
different and contrasting tonal approach unlike other
concerts of this type, without losing the wonderful essence of our bands.

Abschlussfeier des
Europäisch-Asiatischen Musikfestivals 2015
Ein Konzert, welches die Arbeiten der vergangenen
Woche im Rahmen des sozio-kulturellen Austausches
chinesischer und kanarischer Musiker widerspiegelt.
Ziel dieses Projekts verschiedener europäisch-asiatischer Vereinigungen ist es, die Musik als universelle
Sprache zu entdecken, zu fördern und darzustellen,
so dass die jungen Musiker unseres Landes mittels
dieser schönen Kunst mit Musikern vom anderen
Ende der Welt kommunizieren können. Ein neuartiges Projekt, das mit einem einzigartigen Programm
voll von Emotionen und Energie vorgestellt wird. Ein
äußerst dynamisches und spektakuläres Konzert, ein
anderer und kontrastierender Ansatz der Musik, die
wir üblicherweise bei dieser Art von Konzerten hören,
ohne dabei die schöne Essenz zu verlieren, die unsere Musikgruppen umgibt.

‘El Paisaje’ (Piano Melodies For Adrián. Volume One)’,
el trabajo emotivo e intimista del pianista.
Este trabajo discográfico, obra póstuma que Alexis
dedica a la memoria de su hijo Adrián, con temas
compuestos en los últimos dos años, un período
difícil en la vida de este músico, fue presentado en
directo en La Laguna (Paraninfo Ull), punto de arranque de la gira que, tras pasar por otras ciudades del
Archipiélago como Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, ha
sido acogida con gran éxito en Barcelona, Madrid y
Valencia.
El Paisaje (The Landscape) (Piano Melodies For
Adrián. Volume One), a moving, intimate work by the
pianist. The album is a posthumous work that Alexis
dedicated to the memory of his son Adrián, with themes composed in the last two years; a difficult period
for the musician. It was presented by the composer in
La Laguna (Paraninfo UII), the starting point of a tour
that led to other cities of the Archipelago, like Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and then to Barcelona, Madrid
and Valencia, with resounding success.

Adrían widmet und sich aus Liedern zusammensetzt,

Phase seine Lebens komponierte, wurde live in La
Launga (Paraninfo UII) präsentiert, Startpunkt seiner
Tournee, nachdem er in verschiedenen Städten des

What does Swan Lake bring to classical ballet, to
make it the most popular performance of all time?
Although the plot covers the full range of human
emotions, popular consensus is inclined to point out
the music of Tchaikovsky, “the most admired composer in the classical ballet tradition that ever lived”, as
mainly responsible for the ballet’s success. It is full of
rich melodies, well suited to dance, that are extremely
beautiful and pleasant to listen to.
Was trägt in der Welt des klassischen Tanzes dazu bei,
das Schwanensee eines des am meisten geschätzten
Balletts aller Zeiten ist? Auch wenn die Handlung alle

Troveros de Asieta, nace en la Isla de La Palma (Islas
Canarias), fruto de la herencia de aquellos viajes de
ida y vuelta entre Canarias y Cuba. Cuenta con seis
trabajos discográficos que ha presentado en concierto por las Islas Canarias, Madrid, Barcelona, Andalucía, Zaragoza, Extremadura, País Vasco, Cuba y Francia. Considerada como una de las formaciones más
importantes de la música cubana hecha en Europa,
ha colaborado de forma estrecha con artistas de talla internacional como, Pancho Amat (Cuba), Manolito Simonet (Cuba), Lucrecia (Cuba-España), Alfredo
Valdés Jr. (Cuba-Nueva York), Albita Rodríguez (CubaMiami), con las andaluzas Martirio y Pastora Soler,
y ha compartido cartel con figuras del prestigio de,
Cachao, Olga Guillot, Raimundo Amador, Miguel Ríos,
Rosana, Raphael, Alaska, Inti Illimani, Sierra Maestra
o Septeto Nacional.

El Patronato Municipal de Cultura del Ayuntamiento
de Arona conmemora un año más el Día Internacional de la Danza. En esta ocasión, el Auditorio Infanta
Leonor de Los Cristianos, acogerá actuaciones
de la Escuela Municipal de Danza de Arona y las
Academias del Municipio que deleitarán al público
asistente.
The Town Hall of Arona’s Culture Board commemorates International Dance Day. This year, the
Auditorium Infanta Leonor in Los Cristianos hosts
performances by Arona’s Municipal School of Dance
and the town’s dance academies, who will delight
the audience with their talent.
Das Kulturpatronat der Stadtverwaltung von Arona
gedenkt ein weiteres Jahr dem Welttag des Tanzes.
Zu diesem Anlass treten im Auditorium Infanta Leonor in Los Cristianos die Musik- und Tanzschule der

Yolanda Sobrado ha trabajado como bailarina
principal con las mejores compañías españolas de
flamenco: “Antonio”, “José Greco” o “Cristina Hoyos”.
También ha formado parte de producciones internacionales como “Riverdance” con la que ha hecho
giras por todo el mundo. Actualmente está bailando
su última coreografía “CoLLage” en la que expresa, a
través de sus emociones, experiencias y memorias,
una visión íntima y personal del arte flamenco.
Yolanda Sobrado has worked as the lead dancer for
the best Spanish flamenco companies, including
“Antonio”, “José Greco” and “Cristina Hoyos”. She has
also been part of international productions such as
“Riverdance”, touring all over the world with it. She
is currently performing her latest routine “CoLLage”,
in which she expresses an intimate and personal
vision of the art of flamenco through her emotions,
experiences and memories.

CARNAVAL DEL MAR
Carnival of the Sea | Karneval des Meeres
Proyecto turístico sostenible en el que se va a acercar
la esencia del carnaval fuera de las fechas habituales.
Será un pasacalle que ofrecerá una visión diferente
del carnaval, ambientado en la temática marina, que
pretende dar a conocer y concienciar los valores naturales y ambientales que posee el litoral de Arona. El
recorrido comenzará en la Plaza de la Iglesia de Los
Cristianos, a partir de las 18:00 horas.
A sustainable tourist project that is a reminder of the
essence of the carnival at an unusual time of year. A
street parade brings a new perspective to the carnival, based on a marine theme that aims to raise
awareness and publicise the natural and environmental importance of Arona’s coast. The route begins in
Plaza de La Iglesia in Los Cristianos at 18:00.
Projekt zum nachhaltigen Tourismus, das sich an die
Essenz des Karnevals außerhalb der üblichen Zeit
annähert. Es handelt sich um einen Straßenumzug,
der verschiedene Sichtweisen des Karnevals mit
dem Meer als Hauptthema vorstellt und mit welchem
beabsichtigt wird, die Werte der Natur und Umwelt
der Küste von Arona kennenzulernen und über diese
bewusst zu machen. Der Umzug beginnt um 18:00
Uhr auf der Plaza de la Iglesia in Los Cristianos.

Esta prueba deportiva es una de las citas más populares del atletismo en la isla y su circuito está homologado por la Federación Española de Atletismo. El
día 11 de Abril se realizará la entrega de dorsales y
la bolsa del corredor. Además, tendrá lugar la Feria
del Deporte, con diversas exhibiciones, stands de los
patrocinadores y las competiciones de las categorías
menores.
This sports event is one of the most popular athletics
event on the island. Its course is officially approved
by the Spanish Athletics Association. The runners’
numbers and bags will be distributed on 11 April. The
Sports Trade Fair will also be held, with exhibitions,
the sponsors’ booths and competitions in the minor
categories.
Dieser Sportevent ist eine der beliebtesten Leichtathletikveranstaltungen der Insel und seine Strecke
wurde vom Spanischen Leichtathletikverband offiziell
anerkannt. Am 11. April werden die Startnummern
und die Sportbeutel überreicht. Außerdem finden
eine Sportmesse mit verschiedenen Ausstellungen
und Ständen der Sponsoren sowie die Wettkämpfe
der Jugendkategorien statt.

nuestra tierra. En esta edición, como novedad, se celebrará en el exterior del Centro Cultural de Los Cristianos, y además contará con la Feria de Artesanía
Multicultural.

every year. Local artisans from every island come together each year for this event, to offer tasting sessions and sell our best local produce. This novelty this
year is that it will be held together with the Multicultural Crafts Fair, in the exterior of the Los Cristianos
Cultural Centre.
