„Industrie 4.0“ – Was ist das, worum geht es?
„Grundsätzlich ist der Begriff Industrie 4.0
ein Synonym für die „vierte industrielle
Revolution“. Wesentliches Merkmal dabei
ist die Verschmelzung von Produktionstechnologien, Produkten und Internet. Ziel
ist die intelligente Fabrik, die sich durch
Wandlungsfähigkeit, Ressourceneffizienz
und Ergonomie sowie die Einbeziehung von
Kunden und Geschäftspartnern auszeichnet und sich selbst organisiert.“
„Zumindest wesentliche Bausteine auf dem
Weg dahin. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei das
Erfassen, die Analyse sowie die Auswertung
von Daten aus der Produktion und ihre intelligente Verknüpfung in Echtzeit. Dadurch
entstehen nicht nur Chancen kosteneffizienter zu produzieren, sondern vielmehr
auch immer komplexere Herstellungsprozesse flexibel und individualisiert zu steuern, so wie dies etwa mit der Robotik Pack
Line demonstriert wird.“
Und was bedeutet das nun für die Lebensmitteltechnik?
„Was Industrie 4.0 für die Lebensmittelproduktion bedeutet, ist noch nicht abzusehen,
da dabei u.a. auch der Konsument eine
wichtige Rolle spielt. Industrie 4.0 verspricht
aber viel Neues für die Zukunft der Lebensmittelproduktion. Dabei kann der Traum von
der Smart Factory auch mit einem Umbruch
in den Produktionstechnologien verbunden sein. So lassen Entwicklungen wie die
3D-Drucker auch Lebensmittelhersteller über
Themen wie die Losgröße 1 nachdenken.“
Gibt es darüber hinaus Möglichkeiten, sich
zu informieren?
„Während der Anuga FoodTec veranstaltet
die DLG z.B. zwei Fachforen: Am 25. März
eines mit dem Titel „Robots in food production” und am 26. März eines mit dem Titel
„Integrated automatisation (Industry 4.0).“
Kann die Lebensmittelindustrie schon
konkrete positive Beispiele vorweisen?
“Industry 4.0” - What is this?
Basically the term “Industry 4.0” is a synonym for the “fourth industrial revolution”.
The main characteristic is the merging of
production technologies, products and the
Internet. The aim is the creation of a smart
factory which is characterized by adaptability, resource efficiency and ergonomics while
including customers and business partners
into the processes. It can also organize itself.
What does this mean for the food technology sector?
Currently, nobody really knows how significant Industry 4.0 will become for food production because the consumer will also play
an important part in this. However, Industry
4.0 promises many new features for future
food production tasks. The dream of a smart
factory may go along with a change in production technologies. Developments such
as 3D printers are making food producers
think about batch sizes and other issues.
Are there any positive examples available
in the food industry?
There are some significant elements on the
way towards Industry 4.0 which are focusing on the collection, analysis and evaluation of production data and their intelligent
linking in real-time. This makes the production much more cost-efficient and it increasingly means that complex production
processes can be controlled more flexibly
and individually as demonstrated with the
Robotik-Pack-Line.

Production” on 25 March and “Integrated

Das klingt ganz schön, aber auch anmaßend. Richtig daran ist aber, dass man das

sounds impressive at first but presumptuous as well. The essence of the message
is that one has to think about the impossible in order to overcome the normal. It
is not the urge for innovation that inspires
and entices people but rather the fun of
innovation. Of course, it has not always
been sunshine and roses amongst the
team partners of the Robotics Pack-Line.
Naturally, there have been a few ups
and downs and some days have been
rather dull. However, the fun of getting
something new up and running has generated an enormous impetus. We can’t
think of anything better than enthusing the
visitors at a large exhibition. Come and see

At Anuga FoodTec 2015, the Robotik-Pack-Line team will present a complex
processing and packaging line that comprises more than a dozen different modules. In short: Industry 4.0 can be viewed
as a live demonstration. The different processing and packaging stations all work
together in harmony at high speeds.
Herzstück CSB-linecontrol®
Herzstück ist das Modul linecontrol® des
Robotik-Pack-Line-Partners CSB-System.
Mit diesem Steuerungstool werden alle
weiteren Module und damit der gesamte
Produktionsprozess gesteuert und visualisiert. Alle anderen Module der weiteren
Robotik-Pack-Line-Partner müssen hohe
Kompatibilität und ein ähnliches technisches Niveau haben, damit die Gesamtanlage reibungslos funktioniert. Folgende

The linecontrol® module provided by Robotik-Pack-Line partner CSB System is the
centerpiece of the equipment. This control
unit manages all other modules and visualizes the entire production process. In
order for the entire plant to function properly, all of the other modules provided by
different Robotik-Pack-Line partners must
be highly compatible and operate on a similar technical level. The following Robotik-Pack-Line partners will be taking part at
the Anuga FoodTec: CSB-System, Kronen,
Yaskawa, Ceres Vision, LMD, Hilutec, Linde, Mettler-Toledo, SES, Wächter, Fanuc,
Akon Robotics, SMC Pneumatik, OVERVELD Packaging, AMI and the German
Institute of Food Technologies (DIL).
Veggie-Pack in verschiedenen
Kombinationen
Ganz verschiedene Kombinationen werden von linecontrol® gepflegt und sind
nach Wunsch abrufbar. Konkret gezeigt
wird dies an Hand eines Veggie-Pack.
Unterschiedliche Rohkostprodukte, in diesem Falle sind es Mini-Gurken, Mini-Paprikas, Mini-Möhren und zur Abrundung
eine Kleinpackung mit leckerem Dipp,
werden komplett zusammengestellt, kontrolliert, verpackt, etikettiert und zu größeren Gebinden zusammengetragen. Am
Ende steht die fertige Palette. - Während
der Messe erhalten die Besucher als kleinen Vitaminschub jeweils ein Veggie-Pack.
Jedes Modul „weiß“, was es zu tun hat
Sobald die gewünschte Kombination ausgewählt ist, werden die entsprechenden
Bestückungslisten aktiviert und alle involvierten Module der Robotik-Pack-Line
automatisch informiert. Mit dem Start
der gewünschten Charge „weiß“ dann
beispielsweise der Roboter, der die Rohprodukte zu greifen hat, dass er nur die
Mini-Gurken und die Mini-Paprikas – oder
welche Sorte oder Mischung auch immer
– anzufassen und zu verpacken hat. Ähnliches gilt auch für die anderen Module.
Der gesamte Produktionsprozess wird visualisiert und unterliegt einer ständigen
Berechnung der Gesamtanlageneffektivität (OEE).

Veggie pack in various combinations
Various combinations can be stored in
the linecontrol® module and are available
upon request. This will be demonstrated
in a veggie pack processing operation. Various fresh products such as mini cucumbers, mini bell peppers and mini carrots
accompanied by a delicious dip in a small
cup are combined, checked, packed, labeled and assembled into larger units. The
result is a ready-to-ship pallet. Visitors to
the fair will receive a veggie pack as a little
vitamin booster.
Each module “knows” its tasks
As soon as the desired combination has
been chosen, the respective parts list is
activated and information is automatically sent to all modules of the Robotik-Pack-Line involved. Upon starting the
respective process, the robot in charge
of packing the fresh produce “knows”
that it has only to pick and place the mini
cucumbers and the mini bell peppers for
example or whatever combination of items
the software wants it to pack. Similarly,
all other modules also know what to do.
The entire production process is displayed
visually and the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) is constantly measured.
