safety of pedestrians, and to preserve the
scenery of the village. Thank you for your

This parking lot is located on a
highland slightly distant from the
World Heritage Village. It is used
only during crowded periods. Free
shuttle bus service takes visitors
to the Shirakawa Clinic to go to the
World Heritage Village. If you wish to
walk, it takes 10 minutes to the
village (downhill) and 15 minutes
back (uphill). (Approximately 1km
to the World Heritage Village)

parking lot is connected to the World Heritage
Village by a suspension bridge called Deai
