Job Purpose
To lead, develop and authorise quality sport facility security risk and –design solutions for the ICSS
clients, inclusive of governments, major sport event organising committees, sport bodies and sport
venue owners.

Authorised to ensure the successful delivery of integrated and holistic security risk and -design
solutions for clients involved in high profile sporting events and owners of sport facilities, as well as
excellent Customer Relationship Management within a complex and high risk environment.
Responsibilities
 Develop and present the Design Security Department’s strategic- and implementation plan to
the Executive Director Safety and Security.
 Develop and present the Design Security Department’s annual budget to the Executive Director
Safety and Security.

 Direct, assure and report on projects to the Executive Director Safety and Secuirty
 Direct, assure and submit new project proposals to the Executive Director Safety and Secuirty.
 Perform, review and authorise security risk management- and security design solutions for
major sporting events and sport facilities.
 Provide technical guidance in terms of risk management, security design and integration,
electronic security and physical security systems.
 Maintain sound customer- and supplier relations with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
 Direct and manage all the ICSS personnel and consultants under their supervision.
 Identify opportunities to develop Intellectual Property for the ICSS and any process
improvements.
 Constantly seek new business opportunities and work with the ICSS Business Development
function in co-ordination..
 Ensure compliance with all the ICSS policies and procedures.
 Ensure compliance with the ICSS Quality Management System requirements
 Represent the ICSS and promote its interests at public fora
 Remain up-to-date with current security best practices and relevant regulatory aspects,
inclusive of performing security- and risk assessments of major sporting events and facilities.
 Maintain confidentiality of all relevant ICSS and client information.
 Perform other duties or activities as required by the Executive Director Safety and Security.

 Development of strategic- and implementation plans of the Security Design Department.
 Development of budgets of the Security Design Department.
 Assurance of all projects and related documentation of the Security Design Department.
 Personnel management of the Security Design Department.
 New business development of the Security Design Department.

Education & Experience
Educational Qualifications:
A relevant Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning is essential in the
field of Security Engineering, Security Design or equivalent. Any qualifications in Security Risk
Management, Physical Security and Project Management would be beneficial.
Number of Years of Experience:
Minimum of 10 years overall experience in developing and delivering threat and risk led security
design solutions inclusive of major sport events, sport bodies and sporting facailities.
Successfully fulfilled a significant role in the risk management and security design of at least four
major international sporting events or facilities, demonstrates experience in a customer-facing role
and project management of large consulting or services engagements, preferably with a major
engineering design services organisation or consulting background
Specialised Trainings Required (if any):
Continued Professional Development (CPD) in security risk management and design , ASIS
International Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP)
qualifications or any equivalent membership of, or certification by, a recognised organisation.
Languages:
English is required and Arabic would be beneficial.

Strong leadership, managerial,a problem solving and decision-making skills, sound business
acumen, excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills, ability to work under
pressure, flexible, adaptable to work within a multi-cultural & multi-disciplinary environment and
exceptional interpersonal skills.

IT Skill Requirements :
IT skills in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel and Word) are mandatory. Proficiency in MS Project
would be beneficial
