LORNA TUASON-DY Vice-President, Administration & Finance National Power Corporation Ms. Dy is currently the Vice-President for Administration & Finance. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by profession, she rose from the ranks and has been appointed to various executive positions, i.e. as Senior Department Manager for Finance and as Department Manager of the Professional Services, Metro Manila Regional Center (MMRC). She has extensive work exposures in administration, logistics and financial operations of the Corporation. She has attended various trainings, seminars and workshops related to finance, procurement and general administration. Aside from being one of the members of the NPC Management Committee, she was the President of the NPC Executives’ Association, the Vice-Chairperson of the NPC Provident Fund, the Vice-President of the NPC Ladies’ Foundation, the Chairman/Administrator of the NPC Welfare Fund and a Board of Director of the NPC Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative. In addition to this, Ms. Dy is an active member of several government organizations such as the Government Association of Certified Public Accountants (GACPA) and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), among others. Born in Ligao, Albay, Lorna obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Major in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) from the Aquinas University of Legaspi City (1976) and earned units from her Masters Degree in Business Administration at the University of Santo Tomas.
