Update from Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital
Please find listed below the new consultants, and their specialities, who are
now available at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital. We are confident that these
consultants will deliver a high standard of patient care ensuring that Nuffield

Physiotherapy Update
We are also developing the current services on offer
and we are pleased to introduce Jo Lang to our
Physiotherapy team.
Jo is a Chartered Physiotherapist qualifying from
Southampton University in 1997 with an Honours degree
in Physiotherapy. Since then she has gone on to complete
a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation and completed
foundation level and women’s health training in Acupuncture.
Following graduation Jo has spent most of her career working within the NHS
as a Clinical Specialist in Women’s and Men’s Health. She is highly skilled in the
assessment and management of Obstetric, Gynaecology, Urology and Colorectal
dysfunction including pregnancy related back and pelvic pain, incontinence/
prolapse. Should you wish to refer any patients to Jo, you can do this by
calling 0844 334 8653.
Choose and Book Update
Now more patients can get the Nuffield Treatment when booking appointments
as we have increased the number of clinics that are available through NHS
Choose and Book. The clinics currently on offer include: Cataract; ENT; Gynae
Prolapse and Hernia and Gall Bladder. We also support Orthopaedics with Choose
and Book, however please note that all referrals for this must go through the
OASIS Triage Centre first.
GP Events
Our consultants continue to enjoy being able to deliver educational events
for both Healthcare Professionals and potential customers. Our GP Curry
Club continues to grow in popularity so please keep your eyes open for your
invitations - early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Should you have
any specific educational requirements please get in touch and we will endeavour
to fulfil those.
