Pierz Pioneers Weekly Wrap Up January 16, 2015 Reminder to check the event schedules on the MN State High School League website www.mshsl.org, and CMC site www.centralmnconference.org for updates, as postponements and changes are frequently being made. Girls Basketball lost to EVW on Friday (1/9/15) and beat Holdingford on Thursday (1/15/15). They play Melrose at St. Ben’s on Saturday (1/17/15). Next week they go to Maple Lake on Tuesday (1/20/15), host BBE on Thursday (1/22/15) and travel to Osakis on Friday (1/23/15). Their record is now 3-8. The Boys Basketball team lost to HLWW on Tuesday (1/13/15) and to Maple Lake on Thursday (1/15/15). Next week they host LPGE on Monday (1/19/15), travel to Mora on Tuesday (1/20/15), and will play Rockford at SCSU on Thursday (1/22/15). Their record is now 7-7. The Wrestling team beat Little Falls, Aitkin and BHV on Friday (1/9/15) and BBE and HLWW on Tuesday (1/13/15). This Friday (1/16/15) they host a tri with C-I and Sauk Rapids/Rice. Next week they host Kimball on Tuesday (1/20/15). They go to South St. Paul for an individual tournament on Saturday (1/24/15). Their record is now15-4. The Pierz Pizzazz Dance team took 8th in kick and 9th in jazz at the Alex Invite. They took 5th in jazz at the conference meet in Aitkin on Thursday (1/15/15). They will travel to Yellow Medicine East on Saturday (1/17/15). Next week they will dance at half-time of the Boys game on Monday (1/19/15) and host the conference finals on Friday (1/23/15) which is also their final regular season competition.
