Between the directors, we have a total of 50 years maintenance, engineering (Electrical and Mechanical)
and management experience (review CVs)
WHAT WE DO
Electrical engineering work, in MV/LV installations, cranes and lifting operations.
Motors AC and DC maintenance and installations , fault finding and refurbishments.
Cabling – installations ; cable jointing ; cable terminations ( XLPE and PILC ) as well as low voltage
cables.
Transformer maintenance and installations including electrical switchgear maintenance installations
and commissioning and fault finding.
Undertake all electrical Projects. Certificate Of Compliance.
Electrical fault finding on all reticulations MV/LV.
Industrial Electrical work including fault finding, installations and commissioning as well as electrical
refurbishments.

Management and Ownership
Felix Maxwell (Managing Director) holds a Part 2 City and Guilds Institution electrical qualification
(Electrician) as well as a Management Development Program Diploma (UNISA) with extensive
Heavy Current experience.
Harold Chinnappen (Operations Director) holds qualifications as an electrician and millwright,
heavy current electrical engineering diploma, wireman’s licence, Bachelor of commerce degree,
Lifting machines inspector .
Workshop Premises
Our workshop is situated at the new Enterprise Development and Supply Centre being
Workshop No 1. The workshop is sized at 100 m2 and fully compliant with the OSHACT
requirements.
The workers have first class change rooms and ablution blocks.
HF Engineering is under mentorship a guidance incubator programme under Raizcorp .
We currently have two double cab service vehicles and an equipped emergency standby trailer.
The workshop is equipped with ALL approved electrical test equipment
Other approved electrical equipment.
