Congratulations PICO CANYON ROBOTIC TEAMS!!
We would like to congratulate our Robotic Teams for an outstanding season! Throughout the
tournaments our teams were exceptionally successful and most importantly represented Pico
Canyon with outstanding sportsmanship and teamwork. Collectively the teams achieved:
o Blockhead Bash VI Tournament teams placed 1st for Strategy & Innovation and 1st for Innovative Solutions!
o Los Angeles Official Qualifying Tournament teams placed 2nd for Core Values and 2nd for Robot Design!
Two teams (Cyber Huskies and Robo Huskies) advanced to the Los Angeles FLL Regional Championship and received a
medal for Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology!! Congratulations -We are so proud of you!!

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten Registration
Tues., Jan. 13 at 9:00a.m., there will be an informational meeting regarding 2015-2016 Transitional Kindergarten
(TK) and Kindergarten. Registration packets will be available at the end of the meeting. TK/K
Round-Up will be Wed., Feb. 11th, 8:00a.m. – 3:30p.m. All Kindergarten & TK students must register on this day.
Tuesday, January 27th, PTA Meeting has been changed to Tuesday, Feb. 3rd at 9:00a.m.
On Tuesday, Feb. 3rd, our PTA will host an informational meeting with Ms. Erum Jones, Principal, Rancho Pico JHS and
Mark Crawford, Principal of West Ranch High School. We hope you can join us!
District Wide Minimum Day Calendar Change for 2015-2016 School Year
All NSD schools will move to a Friday minimum day schedule beginning in August 2015 for the 2015-2016 school year.
