Rate Contract for Supply of
SMF/Tubular batteries for UPS and Tubular batteries for Inverter
We invite quotation for supply and installation of various types of batteries for the
existing UPS systems installed in our branches and administrative offices of Bank of India,
Raigad Zone, under rate contract for the 6 months period from January 2015 to June
2015. We give below the details of make of the batteries:Particulars of UPS batteries

Terms & Conditions:
 Delivery Period for batteries:- Within a week from the date of order. If the batteries
supplied under the Rate Contract become faulty within the Warranty period, these
batteries should be replaced within 48 hours without any cost / charge.
 Warranty Period : Minimum 1 year for SMF and 5 years for Tubular
 In case of Tubular batteries following services should be provided by the
supplier during the warranty and AMC period without any cost / charge.
1. Filling/replenishing distilled water
2. Periodical maintenance of battery
3. Cleaning of metal battery connectors
 Cost should be inclusive of all charges, taxes, levies, initial charging and delivery
charges etc. at our branches and administrative offices located at Raigad District in
the State of Maharashtra. Octroi charges extra as applicable will be paid separately at
actual against production of valid receipts.

 Vendor to note importantly that Price of the battery plus AMC cost for 2 years will
be reckoned for price evaluation to arrive at L 1 vendor. There will be two
separate categories of L 1 vendors, viz one with buyback cost of old batteries
and the other without buyback cost of old batteries
 The Payment will be made by the respective branch. 90% of the cost will be paid
against delivery & installation of batteries and remaining10% will be paid against Bank
Guarantee of equivalent amount (to be kept at Zonal Office) or after the expiry of
warranty period.
 Quotation with pre-condition of minimum quantity of batteries and attached to specific
UPS brand will not be considered. The quantity of batteries will depend upon the
requirement of our branches.
 Increase in the cost for whatsoever reason will not be entertained during the contract
period.
You may submit sealed quotations marked as “QUOTATION FOR RATE
CONTRACT FOR SUPPLY OF BATTERIES” on or before 27th December 2014 by 3.00
p.m., to Information Technology Department, Raigad Zonal Office at the following address:Bank of India, Raigad Zonal Office, IT Department,

The quotation should be strictly as per the format given below.
Please note that this is only an enquiry without any commitment on the part of the
Bank to purchase a specific quantity or to place an order or to enter into any contract. The
Bank reserves the right to cancel the process of Rate Contract without specifying any reason
whatsoever. Further, the Bank reserves the right to select one or more than one make of
batteries for rate contract.
The quotations will be opened on 30th December 2014 at 11.30 am at Bank of India
Raigad Zonal Office. Please make it convenient to attend the said meeting in person or
through your authorized representative.
