n the evening of 29 November, a certain hotel set in the
hot and sweaty capital of Harare hosted the most beautiful young ladies and handsome gentlemen. Our grade 7s
turned the fashion catwalk
on its head. The most stunning outfits and hairstyles
were on show and thoroughly enjoyed by all fortunate beholders.
The dinner was at the elegant Emmanuel's Restaurant, at the Bronte Hotel,
known for its fine dining . The décor was simple and chic. Our
guest speaker, Richard Whitaker from St Johns College, gave
a wonderful speech full of elaborate demonstrations. In a nut
shell he advised the Grade 7s to

e have reached the end of the school
year with God’s guidance and protection. I ask all parents to please help by cutting
all their children’s nails. Both hands and feet.
Long finger nails are a serious health hazard.
The Term ends with a lot of activities both in
and out of the classroom. I can thankfully say,
In the San Department we experienced no
serious illness or limbs being broken.
We have since planted 7 hectares
of maize in the farm, a reduced Vitamin C tablets or syrup can help build up
hectarage from the 10ha we had the immune system as well as lots of oranges
and citrus fruits. Hats are a must in this

Renovations for the Gardner Hostel have been completed and we
are winding up with a few new
touch ups for the classrooms.

his is the most painful time of the year where we are now bidding farewell
to our grade seven boys and girls. Although we can’t rule out that it’s painful to adjust life without them we feel quite pleased that they have finished the
most important foundational part of their lives.
I will definitely miss them a lot. Leavers’ party was a success and we hope that
they will settle well in their new schools. We have had some sessions counselling them on what to expect at secondary schools and what not to expect. The
main emphasis was on behavior and attitude that have contributed to the demises of many. Wherever the children will go they will be ambassadors of the
school hence Rydings school tag will also be there.
The children were at Lasting Impressions in Kadoma where they enjoyed themselves after a tiresome term. We want to appreciate all those who made it possible especially the parents who paid for this trip.
The grade sevens’ results were not yet out by the time we were compiling these
reports. It is my hope that the children have performed to their best.
I wish you a happy Christmas and a prosperous 2015.

you
believe that
here we are at
the end of another school year?
This year has
been action
packed with
different activities which cover academics cultural, and sporting activities.
The pupils have tried their best to balance the three. It has
been lovely for the children to share what they have been
learning throughout the year.
Grade three is a transitional grade which is very crucial
and a lot of new subjects are introduced in their curricula.
At first it was difficult for the children to adjust but with
more practice they managed to cope with the pressures.
Well done to all the children who represented the school
for different competitions.
Thank you children for being great ambassadors for our
school. Most of the children have progressed well this
year. Holiday time is for the pupils to rest, relax and also
study. Every child is encouraged to visit the nearest library
and get reading books so to enrich their reading culture.
Thank you parents for responding to all our Christmas
party requests and for supporting us throughout the year.
I wish all of you a happy, safe and healthy summer holiday.

his quarter of the term has been so busy that time just flew by so fast.
The children have worked so hard this term and I am contented with
all the results achieved. Our school has always set very high standards for
the children and I would like all the parents to look at the effort put in to
all the subject areas. It is important to prepare the child for the next grade
and I strongly believe that they are ready for grade six. The children deserve a good rest and all the love
and support they can get. Enjoy your holiday and I WISH YOU WELL IN 2015.
