QBE appoints Mike East as Claims Technical Director
QBE European Operations, the business insurance specialist, has announced the
appointment of Mike East as Claims Technical Director. Based in London and
reporting to Dominic Clayden, Claims Director, Mike is expected to take up his role in
April 2015.
Mike has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance claims environment and joins QBE
from Canopius where he has been Head of Claims since 2006.
Dominic Clayden, Claims Director said: “I’m delighted to have attracted someone of
Mike’s calibre and experience to QBE. His proven track record of managing high value
and complex claims as well as implementing successful claims strategies will be
invaluable as we redefine our proposition to put our clients at the heart of a marketleading claims service. ”
