Notes
January Office Tools
The January 2015 version of the Bloomberg Office Tools product will not install on a
machine running Microsoft Office 2003. For users still running Office 2003, we ask that
you please install our December 2014 version found at www.BloombergSoftware.com.
Subsequent updates of Office Tools will only install once Microsoft Office 2003 has
been successfully removed from the machine.
Full Installation Amendment
With the February 2015 release, the Bloomberg Professional Service installation will no
longer be supported on 32-Bit versions of Windows 6.2 and above (This includes
Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and future 32-Bit releases). Windows 7 will not be impacted in
any way.

Office Tools Installer
The installer for this component contains support for both 32-Bit and 64-Bit versions of
the Microsoft Office product. The package will detect which version of Microsoft Office is
installed on the workstation and then install the appropriate package.
For any client wishing to extract the separate installers, the bxlaMMDDYYYY.exe
installer supports a /s/o switch that will copy two files (bxlaupd_32.exe and
bxlaupd_64.exe) into the \blp\Wintrv directory.
