Central Toronto Academy is a school that embraces 21st century
learning. Our small size, caring staff and semester format foster a
climate that provides our students with a high school experience
optimised for their personal growth and development. At CTA, we
are Digital Innovators with classes offered online and blended
learning formats where students receive Chromebooks in grade

become Compassionate Leaders who develop their skills
through our leadership courses, student council and numerous
extra-curricular clubs and activities.Driven by our strong SHSM,
Bike and Cooperative education programs students become
Experiential Learners.
Pre-Advanced and Advanced
Placement
Pre-AP courses at CTA develop

recognised internationally and many universities grant course
credit and advanced standing for students who score well in AP
exams. AP Calculus at CTA develops advanced principles,
techniques, applications and enriched programming ensure that
students taking AP Calculus enjoy distinct advantage upon entry
into university study.

Student Life - Where You Belong
Experiential learning is a way of life at Central Toronto
Academy. With dynamic in-house professional partnerships
with established organizations like the Canadian Basketball
Academy (CBA) and Shakespeare in Action (Canada's
leading Shakespeare company for Youth) as well as
exclusive workshops with industry professionals like "Super
Model" Stacie MacKenzie, Movie director Randal Okita and
many more, our students get to "experience" their education
first hand rather than just reading it out of books. The
experience doesn't end with the programs either. CTA has
an Administrative staff that is so involved with the student
body, that it is common place to see them participating in
classroom activities and workshops on a daily basis or even
dancing and singing on stage along with the students at
assemblies and dances. At CTA, we truly are a close,
supportive, community.
