FLOATING SCREED FLOORS APPLICATION RESA Apply the product within 60 minutes of mixing. Before applying the product, always make sure the substrate is clean and that there are no loose materials or traces of oil, grease or any other substance that could compromise adhesion of the mortar. To make screed floors on large surfaces and / or near walls and pillars is appropriate achieve adequate expansion joints, positioning a separation strip (cardboard, polystyrene foam, etc.) before running the jet. The parts of screed floor crossed by pipes, need be to reinforced placing a light metallic framework (hexagonal meshes). If you need interrupt the job before the whole surface to be finished, you need to put in the vertical edge surface an appropriate support (like horizontal iron rods) to ensure a perfect welding to the recovery of work and avoid cracks and unevenness. In case of rising moist use appropriate waterproof membrane. The product may be applied MECHANICALLY OR MANUALLY. (thickness from between 35 to 60 mm). The floating screed floor must be achieved by interposing a sheet of polyethylene (or other similar material separation strip) between the existing bottom support and the over screed floor. Approximately 20 Kg per m² each centimeters of thickness of screed floor. CONFEZIONI SabbiaCEMENTO VAGA is supplied in 25 kg bags on two-way pallets weighing 1500 kg (total 60 bags). BONDED SCREED FLOORS (thickness between 10 to 35 mm). Small thickness screed floors have to be made in adherence to the support: prepare a slurry based on synthetic rubber latex, water and cement and roll uniformly over the entire surface, than apply SabbiaCEMENTO VAGA on grout while it is still fresh (fresh on fresh). value obtained under standard laboratory conditions TECHNICAL DATA Name SabbiaCEMENTO VAGA Conformity with Screed floor CT-C20-F4-A1fl, in accordance with EN 13813 Water demand 8% of the weight of dry aggregates Component • Cement • 0/4 mm silica aggregates, in conformity with EN 13139 Compressive strength at 28 days (EN 13892-2) > 20 N/mm2 Flexural strength at 28 days (EN 13892-2) > 4 N/mm2 Set to light foot traffic about 16 hours Residual moisture after 14 days at 20 °C/50% (EN 10329) <2% Reaction to fire: (EN 13501-1 tabular value) A1fl Class Sound insulation to noise footfall ∆Lw=23dB N.B. : FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ALWAYS REFER TO THE LATEST, UPDATED VERSION OF THE TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AVAILABLE ON THE COMPANY WEBSITE WWW.VAGAEDILIZIA.IT Precautions Never add other products or modify the pre-dosed quantities; use specific operating procedures for manual handling (Decree 81/2008, art. 168); the product contains cement which, in contact with perspiration or other bodily fluids, produces an irritant alkaline reaction.
