The juror reserves the right to re-categorize. All juried art will be on display in the Peoria City Hall Art Gallery Monday through Wednesday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Thursday 12 pm to 6:00 pm; March 23 through May 14, 2015. Delivery instructions will be included with the jury results. Artwork accepted in the exhibit must be picked up on Friday, May 15, 9 am to noon or Saturday, May 16, 9 am to noon. Cash awards for the categories of Best of Show and First Place (with a minimum of 15 juried pieces) will be given. A catered Reception will take place from 4 pm to 6 pm on Thursday, March 26. Artists, families, friends and the general public are encouraged to attend the Reception. Juror for Celebration of Artists 2015 is Jocelyn Hanson, Executive Director, Shemer Art Center and Museum. Step 1 This exhibit is only for original two dimensional works created within the previous two years by Arizona residents. Artists must be 21 or older to enter. Weight should not exceed 50 pounds and framed size is limited to 40” x 40”. Images for entry are due no later than 5 pm, February 13, 2015. Images may be on a CD at 300dpi and sized no smaller or larger than 10 inches in the longest dimension. A second image for each entry may be submitted of a detail area of the work. Entry fee per work is $15 with a maximum of three entries. Make checks payable to West Valley Art Museum. Send CDs with entry form and fees to Celebration of Artists, West Valley Art Museum, Box 6377, Peoria, AZ 85385. Images may also be emailed to [email protected]. Please include all entry information in a Word file: your name, address, phone, email and list the entries by numbers matching the tags in print form. Include Title, Medium, Price and Dimensions. Step 2 Acceptance notification will be sent the week of March 9, 2015.
