REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
LITASCO is requesting proposals for provision of SAP ETRM System support services on site
1. Introduction
LITASCO is looking to contract a company, which can provide support of the LITASCO ETRM (Energy
Trading and Risk Management) application, integrated within the SAP platform (SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7) on
site (in the LITASCO Geneva office).
2. Responsibilities
The team of consultants and ABAP developers, qualified to support the custom built ETRM system on the
SAP basis, able to provide the user support on-site, solve system issues and make system changes at the
client’s request, up to full time equivalent, in the following functional areas:




SAP ETRM Front End – Derivatives (SAP TRM, Paper Deals, DBO);
SAP ETRM Risk Management (SAP TRM, LO-TRM integration, exposures, PnL);
SAP ETRM Treasury (FX exposure, Cash Management);
SAP ETRM System technical Architect.
3. Qualified Applicants
To be qualified for contract award, the Applicant must demonstrate to the Employer that it can provide
the professionals, satisfying the requirements as follows:
3.1. SAP ETRM Front End Specialist – Derivatives (SAP TRM, Paper Deals, DBO)
 Has experience in energy trading industry;

Has in addition, the following specific experience:
o
SAP Treasury and Risk Management;
o
Trading Book Structure;
o
Paper Deal Capture;
o
Internal Paper Deals;
o
Intercompany Paper Deals;
o
Hedging;
o
Accounting of Paper Deals.
3.2. SAP ETRM Risk Management Specialist (SAP TRM, LO-TRM integration, exposures, PnL)
 Has experience in energy trading industry;

Has in addition, the following specific experience:
o
SAP Exposure Management
o
SAP Treasury and Risk Management
o
o
Trading P&L:

Integration with Physicals (obligations, deliveries, tanks, Costs);

Integration with Derivatives (swaps, futures, options);

Integration with Market Data;

Mark-to-Market approach for Physicals;

Reporting;

Trading Management P&L, month closing in Trading;

Reconciliation of Trading and Accounting P&L;
Commodity Price exposure:

Integration with Physicals (obligations, deliveries, tanks);

Integration with Derivatives (swaps, futures, options);

Exposure analysis by Exposure Drivers.
3.3. SAP ETRM Treasury Specialist
 Has experience in energy trading industry;

Has in addition, the following specific experience:
o
Trading Book Structure;
o
Working capital per book structure levels (Daily, Monthly, Forecast), including internal
physical and paper deals;
o
Cash Flow Forecast per book structure levels;
o
Cash Flow Actuals per book structure levels;
o
FX and Money Market;
o
Integration SAP LO-TRM;
o
Integration SAP ERP-ETRM,
o
Hedge Accounting;
o
Internal Hedge Rate;
o
Joint Ventures;
o
ROACE.
3.4. SAP ETRM System Technical Architect
 Has 5 years of SAP experience in the energy trading sector;

Participated in at least 1 contract that is similar to the LITASCO SAP ETRM project and have been
substantially completed. The similarity shall be based on the size, complexity, functionality,
methods / technology.

Has deep technical knowledge of the SAP based ETRM System functionality, processes, migration
programs/processes, integration points.

Has experience with SAP Commodity Management;

Has knowledge of ABAP, at least program reading/understanding/debugging, real ABAP
development experience is an advantage.
In addition to the specified consulting services, the ABAP development services will be required for each
of the aforementioned areas (Note: ABAP development services can be provided remotely). General
requirement to the ABAP developers:

Have total work experience as ABAP developer of at least 5 years prior to the tender submission
deadline, and with activity in at least nine months in each year;

Have in addition the following specific experience:
o
SAP user-exits, customer exits, BADI, enhancement points;
o
SAP Dialog programming, ALV Enjoy Controls, Object-Oriented programming, “Update
task” programming;
o
SAP Background jobs;
o
SAP Interactive and Classical Reports;
o
SAP Code optimization;
o
SAP Integration with MS Office, smart forms, adobe forms;
o
SAP ETRM migration programs.
4. Jurisdiction and timeline
The services are expected to be contracted out of one of the LITASCO offices or branches.
We expect the tender to be awarded by 20.01.2015.
5. Price of Services
We would like to receive a fee quote for the services as a fixed quote for hourly or daily services,
excluding taxes. LITASCO will pay for actual time spent to provide services.
