Minority Scholarship Notification
Third Revised Schedule-Golden Opportunity for the Minority Students
Government of Maharashtra Scholarship for the Minority Communities Students
Pursuing Technical and Professional Education - 2014-15
Minorities Development Department, Government of Maharashtra is offering the Scholarship for pursuing
Professional and Technical Education for the economically weaker and meritorious students belonging to Muslim ,
Sikh , Buddhist , Christian , Parsi and Jain minority communities.
Details of Eligibly Criteria are available on website - www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/scholarships.
Applications for Fresh/Renewal of scholarship are invited through Online Application System for Technical and
Professional courses from the following types of eligible Minority students for the year 2014-15.
1.
The student who has not filled the online application form.
2.
Those eligible student for the State Government Scholarship who has filled the online application form of Merit
cum Means based scholarship of Government of India-2014-15 but not selected for scholarship (Student can check
the Rejected reason of there application form through “Feedback “ option available on
www.momascholarship.gov.in)

If Merit cum Means based scholarship of Government of India-2014-15 is sanctioned than do not fill the
application form (Selected student has got the permanent-id , Student can check the selected status of there
application form through “Feedback “ option available on www.momascholarship.gov.in or can check the list
of approved students displayed on www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/scholarships )

After filling the application form, the student has to insure that his / her online finalized application form is
online scrutinized (Student can check on website through their application id) before the last date of scrutiny
of application form by the Institute , if not Scrutinized then contact to the Principal before last date of scrutiny
of application form by the institute.
Procedure for Scrutiny and Forwarding Online Registered Application Form of students by the Institute :
I.
Institute in Maharashtra State and Registered under this Scheme :
Institute has to do the online scrutiny of filled application form and submit the scrutinized application form along
with System Generated Acknowledgement Receipt-Phase II to concern Regional office.
II.
Institute Outside Maharashtra State and Registered under this Scheme :
An institute has to manually scrutinize online filled application form of student and forward it with covering letter
of Institute with due sign and stamp to the Nodal office, Directorate of Technical Education, 3, Mahapalika Marg,
Mumbai-01.

The Principal has to insure that, every received online application form is scrutinized (Select / Reject) and clearly
readable scan copy of Institute Scrutinized Report Phase II of accurately scrutinized application forms with due sign
and stamp is uploaded by the Institute before the last date of uploading activity and Acknowledgement ReceiptPhase II is generated.

The scrutinized application form of those institute who will not upload the clearly readable scan copy of system
Generated Report-Phase II of scrutinized application form and not submit System Generated Acknowledgement
Receipt-Phase II before the last date of submission will be Rejected and in this case, no correspondence will be done
by the Directorate of Technical Education ,Mumbai.

a . For Maharashtra State Institute along with online Generated Srutinized
Report-Phase II and online Generated Acknowledgement Receipt- Phase II
by the system. (Generated Acknowledgement Report-Phase II will come after
Sr. No. 4 activity is completed by institute) at Regional offices of Directorate
of Technical Education.
b . For other State Institute , submission of online filled application form along
with covering letter of studying institute to Directorate of Technical
Education, Mumbai

Note :- About Aadhaar card number of Student and link/seeding with Student’s bank Account number.

All students who have already filled the application form without Aadhaar card number has to submit his /her
own Aadhaar card number to the studying institute for updating through their registered Application ID.
The student filling new application form has to fill his /her own Aadhaar card number in his/her online
application form.
All students have to seed/link his/her own Aadhaar card number with their submitted bank account number
through the bank and insure that his/her bank account number is seeded/linked by the bank.
Student has to check his/her submitted bank account number and Aadhaar card number displayed through
his/her application id on the website, if wrong then update it with correct number with proof through
institute before disbursement of scholarship amount to the sanctioned students.
