Details of KTSE The KTSE scholarship will be given every year to the top 20 most talented youngsters in the KVO community. Eligibility Any KVO student who is in 10th standard (who has currently appeared for Board exams in March 2014) can appear for KTSE Only students from the KVO Bawwan-Betali (52-42) villages of Kanthi & Abhadasa in Kutch may apply. Award Details Long Term Scholarship. Rs. 1000 every month for the next 6 years (for college and graduate education) will be given as part of the scholarship. Nurturing and Counseling for the KTSE scholars on an continuous basis The scholarship will be a long term scholarship. The scholarship will be given every month, beginning the month in which college opens for the 11th standard. The awardee will continue to get the scholarship as long as he continues his studies up till the graduate level (up to a maximum of 4 years). The student has to maintain get a minimum of 50% in internal annual exams and 60% in external board exams throughout his studies to stay eligible for receiving the scholarship. Selection Process The scheme of testing is given below Type of Test Duration of Test Marks in Test When Written Exam 120 minutes 100 marks Sunday, June 8, 2014 Interview 15-20 minutes 25 marks Saturday, June 14, 2014 OR Sunday, June 15, 2014 Written Exam Written Aptitude Exam for Mental Aptitude. The Exam requires no preparation and will have analytical and logical aptitude questions. The Written Exam will have multiple choice questions only (no negative marking) Duration: 2 hours. The exam papers will be corrected by an optical machine.The correct circles in the answer book need to be filled in with a black ball pen.So please carry it.All rough work should be done in the examination booklet only. Calculators, personal organizers and mobile phones are not allowed in the exam. Sample questions are given at the end of this form. The full exam papers for KTSE 2007, KTSE 2008 , KTSE 2009,KTSE 2010 , KTSE 2011 ,KTSE 2012 and KTSE 2013 are available online at www.ktse.in. The exam paper will be in English only. Gujarati medium students will be given extra time of 15 minutes and will be put together in a classroom for the exam where a translator will be available to assist in understanding questions, when required. Please carry a valid photo ID proof of the student appearing for the exam on the exam date. Interview The top 40 students based on the exam will then get an interview call. Interview will be on June 14 or June 15.
