Child Care & Education
School Age Child Care
Grades K-5
YMCA School Age Child Care (SACC) offers kids a safe, well
supervised, fun, and nurturing environment to go to after school.
School Age Child Care offers learning centers, arts and crafts,
service learning projects, character development time, swimming,
games, outdoor play (weather permitting), homework time, a snack
and more. Financial assistance is available.
Effective September 2014 our SACC program will be tuition based in
order to provide more consistency and convenience in our programs.
There are two tuition options available: part time in which your
child attends one to three days per week and full time in which your
child attends four or five days per week. Our tuition is based on the
price of the program for the year and then divided into 10 equal
payments. Each month you will pay 1/10th of your total childcare
bill, regardless of the number of school days actually occurring in
that month. Please contact the branch for more information.
New York State Office of Child and Family Services and the YMCA
require that certain items be obtained from program participants
prior to their start in the program.

Summer Camp
When a child looks back on their summer camp experience at the Y,
they will undoubtedly remember spending their days laughing as they
splashed around in the pool, scoring the winning goal, the awesome
arts project they have hanging on their fridge at home, the cool
animals they saw on their field trip, and so much more.
Yet, without even knowing it, they are learning and growing with
each experience they have at a Y camp. They are mastering new
skills, making new friends, learning to work in teams, challenging
themselves to try new things, respecting each other and their
