A year filled with great social events and speakers that will make us laugh, smile and make us think. Some of us will win the 50/50, but all of us ladies will receive a flower on our Birthday. All of us make this club a fun place to be with friends. So again, I wish all my Friends a Great New Year. Welcome to our Members & Guests Please notify the Membership Chair of any changes to your address, phone number, email address, etc. We realize this is a continuing reminder, but it is very important! * * GOODWILL: Please pass information regarding sickness, hospital stays, or death of a member, to Judy Gilbert (705) ___-____. If you do not tell us, we may miss sending out a card. "Our Strength is Fellowship; Our Success is Participation" NOVEMBER SPEAKER November's Speaker was Ed Parkes, the chair of the Georgian Triangle Crime Stoppers Committee. His presentation was interesting and compelling. All of us can be the 'eyes of Wasaga' and work together to reduce crime in our own communities. The anonymous tips received to date have helped solve numerous cases and have reduced crime throughout the Georgian Triangle. Volunteers are welcomed on this fairly new committee. For more details about the program and how you can make a difference, check out www.crimestopperssdm.com. If you have a tip for authorities, call 1-800-222-8477. DON’T FORGET: The Secretary’s Minutes of the last General Meeting and the Treasurer’s Summary of the Club’s finances are posted at the front of the room. Please read them!
