TENDER NOTICE
Electric Loco Shed/N.Rly./Ghaziabad

Sealed open tenders are invited by Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer-RS, Electric Loco Shed,
Northern Railway, Ghaziabad, for and on behalf of President of India, for under stated work as
per eligibility criteria mentioned in the tender document.
(1) Name of works: Hiring of Truck 09 M/Ton Capacity for transportation of Rly. Materials of
Electric Loco Shed Ghaziabad by Road transport for any originating station
to any destination station for one year. Qty.1,40,625 kilometer., Location:
Electric Loco Shed, Ghaziabad.
(2) Approximate value of the work: Rs.42,30,040.00 (Rupees Forty two lakh thirty thousand
forty only)
(3) Cost of Tender: Rs.3,000/- (Non –Refundable)
(4) The Tender document can be purchased from the office of Senior Divisional Electrical
Engineer-RS, Electric Loco Shed, Northern Railway, Ghaziabad on application and on
production of original money receipt. The money receipt can be had from the Chief Booking
Clerk, Ghaziabad after paying the requisite cost of tender with application. The tender
document will not be sent by post. The tender document will be available for sale on all
working days from 26.12.2014 to 25.01.2015 between 11:00 Hrs to 15:00 Hrs.
(5) Earnest money: Rs.84,610.00 (Rupees Eighty four thousand six hundred ten only), EMD
should be pledged in the name of Sr. DIVISIONAL FINANCE MANAGER, NORTHERN
RAILWAY, NEW DELHI.
(6) Completion period of the work: 01 (One) Year from the date of issue of L.O.A.
(7) Date & time of Submission of Tender 27.01.2015 at 12:00 Hrs. Date and Time of opening of
Tender on 27.01.2015 immediate after 12:15 Hrs.
(8) Tender document can be seen in Railway Website “www.nr.indianrailways.gov.in” and
Notice board of Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer-RS, Electric Loco Shed, Northern
Railway, Ghaziabad from 26.12.2014 to 25.01.2015.
Note: Joint venture firm is not applicable to this works contract.
