WINTER 2014 DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
As with all Pony Club activities please put your name down with Kate in good time to enable us to book sufficient instructors. Last minute bookings are unfair on all those who have given
adequate notice. Kate’s number is 01497 831024 and her email address is [email protected] Rolling Rallies £5.
If you have to cancel (and we all do from time to time) please can you let Clare, Kate or Julie know ASAP with minimum 24 hours’ notice. Rally fee payable if no notice given.

Pony Club Etiquette: Dress: We do expect members to wear items of branch clothing. Please get in touch
with Julie when you wish to purchase anything. Riding boots should be clean. Gloves should be worn at all
times when riding. Jodhpurs or breeches should be light coloured and plain. New clothing is not essential
but what is worn must be clean, neat and tidy. Hair should be tied back and preferably in a hairnet or plait.
Riding hats must conform to current regulations and be worn with the chin strap done up whilst mounted.
Please see Julie if you need your hat to be inspected and tagged as appropriate. Branch hat silks are
available at £10. The Pony Club badge should be worn at Pony Club Activities together with the disc of
coloured felt indicating the current test standard achieved, displayed under the badge. Cloth achievement
badges should be sewn onto the branch sweatshirt. Body Protectors are advisable but only compulsory for
XC Riding. Spurs may be worn at rallies and other events when a member has passed their full B test.
Members without their B test must have the written permission of their DC to use spurs. For safety
reasons, no jewellery may be worn except a watch, wedding ring, or stock pin worn horizontally. Please DO
NOT wear earrings at Pony Club or at any time whilst riding. Any problems please contact: DC- Clare

HAT TAGS
WEF 1 January 2015, the Pony Club will be
introducing a new, white, hat tag. The new
tags will replace the old ones and are essential
if entering any PC competition. Please make
sure that you bring all your hats along for new
tags to be fitted. This is also an opportunity for
us to check that your hat meets current PC
regulations.
