2015 AMUN Conference – Preliminary Schedule

10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Conference Registration – Student Center, Room #213 (AMUN Secretariat Headquarters)
All delegations should send their faculty adviser and head delegate(s) to the registration desk located in the AMUN
Secretariat Headquarters in Room #213 in the UCA Student Center. If you haven’t yet paid your country and/or
delegate fees, you will need to pay these fees in full at the registration desk in order for the delegates to be given their
credentials (i.e. name badges).
All of the sessions of the AMUN Conference will be held in Ida Waldran Auditorium (Main Hall) and the Student Center,
both located in the center of UCA campus. There is free parking for cars, vans, and buses on the west side of Reynolds
Performance Hall, located on the south side of the campus.
The faculty adviser lounge will be located in the Student Center, Room #202. Coffee and ice tea will be available for
faculty advisors during most of the conference.
Delegate lounges/meeting rooms are located in the Student Center, Rooms #201, #204, and #226. Delegates are
encouraged to use these rooms for informal caucusing during breaks in formal sessions of their committees.

AMUN 50th Anniversary Presentation – Ida Waldran Auditorium (Main Hall).
A 15-minute presentation on the 50th Anniversary of the AMUN will be shown on the screen in the auditorium.

The three committees of the General Assembly (SOCHUM, ECOFIN, and SPECPOL) should formally adjourn their
meetings at approximately 10:15 am.

All faculty advisers are encouraged to attend this meeting. A lottery for country assignments for the 2016 AMUN
Conference will take place during this meeting.
10:30 am – 11:30 am
Plenary Session of the General Assembly – Ida Waldran Auditorium
The three committees of the General Assembly (SOCHUM, ECOFIN, and SPECPOL) shall convene in the Plenary Session of
the General Assembly in Ida Waldran Auditorium. The Plenary Session shall start promptly at 10:30 am. After formally
convening, the Plenary Session shall begin with speeches by the three delegates elected as Rapporteurs of the three
committees of the General Assembly.

All pages, observers, and delegates should be seated in Ida Waldran Auditorium for the closing session by 4:00 pm.
Awards presentations and formal announcement of the 2016 AMUN Secretary-General.
As a courtesy to all of the participants in the conference, please do not make plans to leave the conference prior to the
end of the closing session at 5:00pm! If you must leave early, please inform the AMUN Secretary-General or AMUN
Coordinator.
