B-COMM® for SAP ERP Solution
Kaba’s B-COMM for SAP ERP solution features a time clock
connector interface for the SAP CATS module. Our SAP CATS
interface provides a seamless flow of data to the relevant
modules in SAP (HCM, CO, PS, PM, CS). All work is registered
just once and redundant data is not stored.
SAP CATS (Cross Application Time Sheet) is a tool that allows
users to record cross application working time and activities
directly in SAP, using a valid login and the necessary device
with an installed SAP GUI. With Kaba’s B-COMM for SAP ERP
solution, companies automate this process by recording
employee time via: Kaba time and attendance and shop floor
data collection terminal; Web time clock; mobile device; or
the user’s PC. The Kaba solution delivers the benefit of realtime data collection validation to your SAP System.
B-COMM for SAP ERP collects employee time data and
records it in the SAP CATS working time sheet. B-COMM
calculates an employee’s total working time, and compares it
against the work schedules in SAP HCM. This substantially
reduces potential errors in SAP CATS by including work
schedule data in the time evaluation calculation.
Additional features are available with Kaba add-on modules
for CATS Absence Reporting and CATS Error Handling. The
add-on Kaba module for CATS Absence Reporting allows
employees to report attendance/absence data directly at the
clock, where all possible attendance/absence messages are
displayed. Employees can select the appropriate attendance/
absence event from a list, and based on the booking, the clock
displays the corresponding time pairs for the time already
spent working, (or that is expected to be spent working), and
transmits a message to SAP CATS.
B-COMM for SAP CATS Error Handling is an error correction
tool that integrates to SAP. Users have a configurable graphic
overview of faulty bookings that have been rejected by SAP
CATS, and can take appropriate action.
