QS/1 Printer Guidelines

QS/1 Printer Not Working
STEP 3
QS/1 Printer does not print labels
If settings are blank, follow the steps shown below:
Select QS/1 Net Printer and select printer from drop-down
list; Auto checked; then click on Destination


Workstations that are physically attached to label
printers MUST be logged into QS/1, they are referred
to as a DAL machine (LD-xxxxx)
Check QS/1 settings on DAL machine
STEP 1
EXIT QS/1 – ensure all instances of application
are not visible on taskbar
STEP 2
Check LAN Adapter Number 1150 is selected; then
click on Configure Net Printers
* If unsure of printer number, please contact PharmIS via
email [email protected] or pager 17986
Go to next step to configure printer options.
STEP 4
Laser Printer? checked; Select Default Page Font
as Standard 17 Pitch (17 cpi) as shown below
STEP 5
Select QS1LPT1 as default printer from drop-down list, then
click OK
STEP 6
Return back to display window (as shown in step 4); Click
OK; Click YES at message prompt. Please click Start and
connect to QS/1 and select printer for labels.
If default printer is NOT QS1LPT1 (as shown above), click
Change Printer… and follow next step

Login to QS/1; Click on Printer Configuration;
Select Printer Selection to appropriate printer
Print a test report.

If screen displays error (as shown) prior to these
steps and printer setup, which does NOT resolve
