K409 SECURE PROCESSOR K-K40914.02 PRODUCT BRIEF K409 SECURE PROCESSOR with integrated NFC and touch controllers PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Kili K409 Secure Processor, with integrated NFC and secure capacitive touch controllers, is designed for payment, security, authentication, and NFC pairing applications. It features a unique, dual-core 32-bit architecture designed to meet FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certification*. The cores are separated — a secure CPU and an application CPU — to maximize the security of applications which use the secure processor. The K409 is bundled in a smallprofile Embedded Wafer-Level BGA package. Unique to Kili, the K409 is equipped with a secure capacitive touch controller which meets PCI PTS POI v4.0 standards. This architecture also maintains the validity of the FIPS certification even if the application firmware undergoes modifications. Firmware optimized for pre-certified payment, NFC, and cryptography is also available.
