Special Talk on “WORLD AIDS
DAY’’

Venue : AVM-A SEMINAR HALL
To commemorate the occasion of World
AIDS Day, a special talk was organized
for the senior classes. Ms. Dhruti, the
Biology teacher briefed about the
history, origin and spread of the disease
globally and in our country. The session
was very informative
and
created
awareness among
the students
of
AVM – A.
Career Talk

Venue : AVM-A Seminar Hall
Choosing the right career is of prime
importance.
Mostly
students
are
bewildered while doing so. Keeping in
mind the need of the hour, a career talk
was organized at AVM-A . It was
conducted by Adani Foundation in two
phases i.e. career talk & psychometric
testing.
Lost Along a Victory Line
One gets to show a feel of pride
Hence at times hits in the heat,
While inside lies a blackish-eyed ,
Intense feel of jealousy and zeal to compete;
Which at times reaches no peak?

by Std.IX TO XII
Date : 01/12/2014
STD.IX TO XII were provided with survey
forms by National Health Mission for
National vector born disease control
program . They carried out the survey in
their neighborhood to find out about the
areas prone to mosquito breeding.
Cultural Show Of STD VI to VIII
Date : 6/12/2014
Venue : AVM-A Assembly Area
In connection with AVM’S annual theme
“Gratitude”, middle school celebrated the
cultural show. The Chairperson of the
event was Mr. Sunil Mattoo, Assistant
Vice President, Adani Infra Ltd. The
Special Guests were Ms. Nuria Ansari
(Vice

foundation), Mr. Harish Brahmbhatt
(Managing Trustee of Holy Child School,
Kalol ), RJ Bhumicka (Radio one FM 95),
Ms. Margi Hathi (Asst. Professor, M.P Arts
& M.H Commerce college, Ahmedabad).
The Guest of Honor was Mrs. & Mr.
Ramesh Thummar, Proud parents of

special event for the students. As a part
of it, team events like football, kabaddi,
volleyball were conducted.

Annual Sports Meet
Date : 20/12/2014
Venue : AVM-A Play Ground
The Chair person of the event was Mr. Laxmiprasad Chaudhari (President Adani
Enterprises), Chief Guest was Mr.Praful Jalu (District Primary Education officer Patan), Special Guest was Ms. G. Deepika Murthy: the goalkeeper of Indian woman's
hockey team & Mr. Vishawaraj Jadeja : International long track speed skater, Guest of
Honor was Mr. Satish & Mrs. Kalpana Rajpal (Proud parents of Rinku Rajpal) & Mr.
Rameshchandra & Mrs. Hemlata Shrimali (Proud parents of Shreya Shrimali). Miss.
Shreya Shrimali secured Player of the Year award, Miss. Krupali Joshi Best Girl Athlete
and Master Neel Patel Best Boy Athlete award which was given away by the Chairman
of the Adani Foundation Mdam Dr. Priti G Adani.

senior students?’ was the theme
of the presentation.

Mr. Kush Pathak & Mr. Brijesh Kathiriya attended
a lecture on Instigating Innovation: Source of
Sustainable Success. It was conducted at H.T
Parekh Convention centre at AMA complex. The
lecture was delivered by Mr. Kiran Karnik the
former President, NASSCOM & EX-member of
Prime Minister’s advisory council.
Culmination Of Cleanliness Drive
Date : 26/12/2014 Venue : AVM-A Assembly
The cleanliness drive which was initiated on
October 4th 2014, culminated on 26th December.
As a part of the culmination program, students of
Std. VII & VIII made posters & banners and
carried out a small rally in the potter’s locality
near the school.

Refresher Course for Driver & Conductor
Mr. Hemant Joshi and Miss
Nilofer Munir conducted a clay
modelling workshop at AVM - A.
30 students from classes 6 to 11
accompanied by Awdhesh sir,
took part in it. They learnt how to
make models with the help of
clay.

senior students to Gujarat Vidhan Sabha,

museum gallery which
had the collection of articles

the
photographs of other
prominent leaders of
the state.
Visit To An Old Age Home

Venue : Jeevan Sandhya
The teachers of Adani Vidya Mandir, Ahmedabad visited ‘Jeevan Sandhya’ . It was an
amazing experience and we have realized that we can make a difference by promising
ourselves that we will never behave in an uncalled way with our grandparents and
parents.

320 Students of junior classes along
with 13 teachers went to Gujarat
Vidyapith, where they visited the
Gujarat Tribal Museum.
Picnic
Date : 31/12/2014
Venue : Indroda Park, Gandhinagar
The classes VI & XI visited the Indroda Park
in Gandhinagar. The day long picnic was
refreshing and filled with fun.
