Centennial Cougars
Hockey STP
Prepare and train for the 2014–15 hockey season.
Choose some or all of four training sessions:
• Spring dryland training session
• Summer on-ice training session
• Summer dryland training session
• Fall on-ice training session
Train with the Centennial High School boys
hockey coaching staff, current CHS players, and
former CHS players who have gone on to play
college and junior hockey. Sessions have a minimum of 20 and maximum of 30 players.
For squirt to high school levels:
• High School I (letter winners and all seniors)
• High School II (returning JV players, incoming bantams, U16, and Junior Gold
• Squirt, Peewee, and Bantams will be based on USA Hockey age eligibility for youth
Spring Dryland Training
Speed, strength, power, and core training with
Acceleration North trainers at the new Lino Lakes
facility.
When: April 7–May 30
• Peewees 4–5 p.m., Mondays & Wednesdays
• Squirts
5–6 p.m., Mondays & Wednesdays
• Bantams 4–5 p.m., Tuesdays & Thursdays
• Mites
5–6 p.m., Tuesdays & Thursdays

Summer Dryland Training
Purchase a punch card and receive 10 hours of individual training on your own at either of the Acceleration
North facilities. Schedule any of the following from
June 1–October 31.
Lino Lakes facility: Running treadmill or ground
based speed, strength, agility training
Arden Hills facility: Skating treadmill, running
treadmill, OR ground based speed, strength, agility
training

Cost: $160/10 hours (normally $195)

Summer On-ice Training
This session focuses on a variety of skills and hockey
concepts based on age.
When: June 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 23, 25, 27;
July 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23
*(There will be no ice from July 1–6)

Fall On-ice Training
Skate and skill intensive. Skate/stride work to further
develop and refine skating skills. Stick handling skills
are also emphasized. Small area games will be planned
to emphasize skills learned and further enhance creativity.
