Meet DeeDee Montgomery, our Bowling Coach. Dee Dee Montgomery is entering her 15th year of teaching, 7 of those in the Williamson County Schools. After playing both basketball and softball in college, her coaching career began as a Graduate Assistant for her University’s softball team. That led her to the high school level where she coached both sports for 7 years. This is her fourth year as bowling coach and she is excited about her returning bowlers. Originally from Meridian, Mississippi she received a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. After working in the medical field for a year, she returned to the classroom to obtain her Master's Degree in Education in 2000. She currently teaches Honors Biology and Honors Anatomy and Physiology. Coach Montgomery moved to the Nashville area after Hurricane Katrina to work with a Sports Ministry called Infinity Sports. She and her husband travel overseas during the summers taking athletes to unreached areas. They have traveled to China, Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico, Indonesia, the Philippines and most recently the country of Georgia. “We finished first in district last year in Boy’s Bowling and have several returning bowlers who have been working hard on the off season. This is a competitive team that has fun but also takes pride in individual and team performances.” She lives in Spring Hill with her husband, Mark, and their 4 kids, Faith (18), Jett (8), and Jagger (5) and Crews (6 months).
