 Our Engineering Department staff are experienced in
aircraft modifications, in addition to providing support to a
vast fleet that operate in an extreme environment.
 As an approved Transport Canada Airworthiness
Engineering Organization (AEO 98-0-01), under
its scope of delegation we offer support in:
 Structures, Systems and Equipment and Avionics/Electrical
specialties
 Non-delegated support is represented for Transport
Canada Approval
 Issuance of delegated Supplemental Type Certificates and
Repair Design Approvals

Cargo Compartment
Cargo Liners
 Compartment comprised of ceiling,
bin and sidewall liners.
Ceiling panels stay permanently
installed. They are used to contain the
LED lighting units and smoke
detectors.
 Bin and sidewall panels are removable
and only installed when in the cargo
area.

SCD VERSION
 All liner panels are made from
aluminum, fastened together with
standard hardware.
 The removable joints of each panel are
sealed with a one side adhesive
compressible foam.

Smoke Detection/Fire Suppression System
The smoke detection/fire suppression system
includes the following components:
 Dual loop smoke detectors, located in the
crown of the cargo compartment.
 Two (2) 1400 cubic inch halon bottles,
located under the main deck floor.
 Four (4) halon distribution nozzles,
located in the crown of the cargo
compartment.
 A control panel, located in the cockpit
overhead panel is used to provide a smoke
alarm and deploy halon within the cargo
compartment.
 A configuration control panel located in
the cockpit is used to control which smoke
detectors are active within the cargo bay
depending on the aircraft configuration.
 Two (2) ventilation shutoff valves are
installed under the floor for use when
performing class E cargo compartment
emergency procedure.
