Specifications subject to change. COLLAPSIBLE END RESTRAINT Cargo Compartment Cargo Liners Compartment comprised of ceiling, bin and sidewall liners. Ceiling panels stay permanently installed. They are used to contain the LED lighting units and smoke detectors. Bin and sidewall panels are removable and only installed when in the cargo area. SCD VERSION All liner panels are made from aluminum, fastened together with standard hardware. The removable joints of each panel are sealed with a one side adhesive compressible foam. Smoke Detection/Fire Suppression System The smoke detection/fire suppression system includes the following components: Dual loop smoke detectors, located in the crown of the cargo compartment. Two (2) 1400 cubic inch halon bottles, located under the main deck floor. Four (4) halon distribution nozzles, located in the crown of the cargo compartment. A control panel, located in the cockpit overhead panel is used to provide a smoke alarm and deploy halon within the cargo compartment. A configuration control panel located in the cockpit is used to control which smoke detectors are active within the cargo bay depending on the aircraft configuration. Two (2) ventilation shutoff valves are installed under the floor for use when performing class E cargo compartment emergency procedure. This document is proprietary to First Air.
