4. Organizational achievement: (july-september/2012)
1) Four members of dacoit was arrested and goods of Dacoity was recovered during the month of Holy Ramadan. The
dacoity was committed during Ramadan When the employee of a factory went for the praying after Iftar. The dacoits
looted the goods of transmitter and later on arrested by the IC of pubail police out post.
2) Five foreign made pistol with 23 round bullet was recovered and 11 terrorists was arrested during this time. At the same
time 55 person was arrested with 22kg of Gaza, 970gm Heroine 1144 pieces of yaba, 452 bottles of phensidyle, 100 cane of
bear was recovered.
3) In the context of law and order, Gazipur district is very important. During Eid-ul-Fitar festival, it is very difficult and
challenging for police to maintain law and order and traffic management due to huge traffic. But in the last Eid- ul- Fitar it
was appropriately maintained and well managed by Gazipur District police which was appreciated by Honorable Prime
Minister and senior officials.
