Fishler School of Education, in cooperation with the a quality program with leading instructors in their disciplines. during the 2014-2015 school year or those who have been teaching AP for 1 to 3 years. Tuition & Fees Tuition is $595 per workshop, which includes a $50 nonrefundable registration fee. The registration fee is required at the time of registration. * Chemistry $630.00 [includes $35 Lab fee]. Tuition for the institute includes cost of instruction, texts and College Board materials. Complimentary refreshments are provided each morning & afternoon. Credits & Times participation for 30 hours of instruction and Continuing Education Units (CEU’s). Registration for the AP Summer Institute implies agreement to attend all class sessions for the full meeting time. If a workshop is cancelled, all will be given the opportunity to transfer to an open workshop or will be issued full refunds. Cancellations & Refunds The $50 registration fee is nonrefundable. Participants unable to attend must notify the APSI Coordinator via email by 5:00 p.m. on June 2, 2014 to receive a refund of the tuition. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. Absolutely NO refunds will be processed after June 2, 2014. School systems may substitute a paid participant with another teacher in the same course. Schools or individuals will be billed the full amount if a registered participant does not show. Clothing & Climate It is recommended that you wear lightweight, casual clothing and bring an umbrella, since Fort Lauderdale daytime highs can be in the upper 90’s in June and July, and it is the rainy season. All university facilities are air conditioned, so you may also want to bring a light jacket or sweater.
