Armouring System / Balistics
• General: Our unique Armour System is designed to protect the driver and the passengers from
highlevel ballistic multi-impact attacks with military weapons, explosives and blast fragmentation.
The external appearance of our armoured SUV is identical to the OEM base vehicle.
• Opaque Armour: The Inside Safe Box System: This System provides full protection for the complete
vehicle interior, providing the highest ballistic protection against explosives and rifle attacks.
This fully welded ballistic inside cage system is made from Thyssen Secure German ballistic steel.
• Overlap system: Substantial overlaps for all opaque and transparent areas, with all gaps ballistically
sealed with spall liners around the window apertures and all five doors.
• Floor protection: Our Thyssen Secure 100% steel floor design provides greatly enhanced protection
from grenade attacks (2 x DM51 grenades / 2x HG85).
• Roof protection: The roof steel protection system includes a 90° ballistic impact angle (BRV 2009 VR7
and the CEN standard only requires 45°).
• The roof steel protection also provides enhanced protection against blast attacks HG85 / 2 x DM31).
Engine and Tank
• Engine Compartment:
- Both batteries are protected by ballistic steel
- Vehicle Management system is protected by ballistic steel.
- Fire Suppression System with independent pen-cartridges.
- No reservoir tank needed which safes cargo space and eases maintenance,
repair and exchange of these systems
• by the equal extinguishing power.
- The whole fire-wall is protected by ballistic steel, incuding all openings which are also covered by
overlaps.
Protected Fuel Tanks
Protected sub and main fuel tank, armoured with ballistic
steel (Thyssen Secure 500).
For additional protection, “Explosafe” fuel tanks with the
capability to close / seal bullet holes as
well as prevent gassing of fuel.
Runflat-system
All terrain wheels with aluminium alloy 16”-18” rims
suitable for vehicle weight:

- The spare wheel is mounted underneath the vehicle to

Service & Repair
The armored vehicles require expertise services, taking into consideration the additional weight and the
specific amendment. Which we provide with our highly qualified staff from the factory in German.
The required parts are direct placement is done by the unique expertise from the staff of the factory.
We also offer regularly scheduled maintenance and perfect functionality for your vehicle (armored
vehicle manual).
Technicals for the armored car, undertake detailed the specific service, either in Germany at our place in
germany, either at your place with global coverage within 48 hours.
Therefore the ARMOURED GLOBAL CARS undertaken in full efficiency the service, maintenance and
supply of spare parts directly, in cooperation with the specialized factory in Germany.
Training
Armoured vehicle driver training
1) Armoured vehicles are special vehicles and require specialised operation by the driver, who must
always have full control
2) Parliaments, embassies and special services worldwide use specially trained drivers who hold a license
to drive - operate armoured vehicles
3) The driver is responsible for the safety of all passengers, while the vehicle is in motion.

Armoured cars in collaboration with two leading companies in the field of armoured vehicles drivers
training based in Germany can take on all learning levels, offering a certificate in safe driving operation of an armoured vehicle, at a circuit located 35 km outside Frankfurt.
The head of Armoured Global Cars training department conducts and attends all educational programs
worldwide involving the following areas:
- Counter-terrorism and armoured vehicle
- Management of crisis, hostage and kidnapping situations
- Special escape manoeuvre learning and use of equipment of the vehicle, which guarantees the
absolute safety of passengers.
