The TP120 VGO-Ku is a highly mobile
VSAT terminal that has been designed for
worldwide operation.
There are some important features to consider when
specifying a VSAT terminal for worldwide deployment.
The TP120 VGO-Ku has an 8W low power
consumption extended Ku-Band BUC, that can be
powered via the IP Modem to give ample power to
maintain a good IP link margin.
The LNB supplied, will cover the full Ku Rx band to
ensure reception on all satellites worldwide. In some
deployments the Tx Polarisation may be co-located
with the Rx, so the TP120 VGO will be supplied with
an interchangeable OMT for Cross-POL and Co-POL,
giving piece of mind that whatever the frequency
allocation, the TP120 VGO will be operate seamlessly.
The IP modem will be supplied as an outdoor unit that
is sealed against water, sand and dust with an internal
WiFi router.
The TP120 VGO incorporates an integrated GPS,
electronic compass and inclinometer to give accurate
feedback of your current
location, pointing angles
and polarisation angle,
making the satellite
acquisition both fast and
simple for untrained staff
using the bespoke MPAD2.
