Basketball program!
contact myself or the
Parent Support Group.
BBC Basketball has enjoyed continuous success over recent seasons,
founded on a strong underlying program, and there is a lot to be excited
about in 2013. In this brochure you
will find all the information and links
that you need to make the most of the
2013 season.
If boys or parents are
in need of any further
information, the first
place to look is on the
basketball page of the
Blackboard website.
Here you’ll find the most
up-to-date information available. The
web address is

I wish to strongly encourage parents
to get involved with the program this
year. Interaction with the game through
team management, score bench, and

Basketball at BBC
The College Basketball program was
founded in 1986, and has a history of
success over its 27 year tender. With 4
GPS premierships, 2 QLD State Titles
and a handful of National Titles appearances, the program adopts two main
objectives.
“Give each individual the opportunity
to develop, achieve and enjoy the
game”
“Continue to be recognised as one
of Australia’s top basketball schools”
The school competes in the Brisbane
Basketball Incorporated (BBI) club
competition year round. Through this
involvement, boys are then introduced to
the BBI representative program.
The GPS and CIC inter-school competitions foster some of the most talented
players in Australia, and allow boys to
compete against other schools. The GPS
championship is the most prestigious
competition among students.
The College 1st V also regularly competes
in the QLD Schools Championships and
the Australian Schools Championships.
These players are developed through the
High Performance Program focussing on
both skills and athleticism.
