Community Education Classes ARTS/CRAFTING A fun and informal approach to learning the basics of watercolor painting for beginners and intermediate students. Instructions will include learning the basics of watercolor techniques and the fun each student can experience with the expression of paint applied to paper. Whether you have never knitted, or started knitting and have forgotten what was learned, this is the place to start. You will knit a very easy hat, with the pattern, needles and yarn supplied. Students will need to work on the hat outside of class time in order to complete the project. You will examine a variety of applications, learn how to download applications, and explore methods for using the iPad in education. There’s no need to fear typing using the onscreen keyboard and the editing features. You’ll also learn how to clean the iPad, browse the web using Safari, use the iBooks app to download books, as well as download and install a third party application from the iTunes App Store. Instructor: Charles Warmack Photoshop 102 Photoshop 102 will pick up right where 101 left off, teaching more advanced techniques for editing photos, and making them polished without being overdone. Special time will be devoted to retouching, special effects, and merging photos together. The class will also focus on how to create and use textures, and how to add borders and designs to your photos to make them perfect. Learn how to make the most of your photographs. Dancers develop coordination, rhythm and body awareness through simple choreography that targets skills that are at the appropriate developmental level for preschoolers. No matter what your age, you can benefit from 10 private 30-minute lessons for an incredible price. Beginners as well as the experienced musician are welcome. Learning to play a guitar requires an investment of time. It is fun and intrinsically rewarding. While studying the guitar, you will achieve a balance between hard work and fun.
