Keep ice free from any objects/equipment, static/non static items and debris not associated with general ice skating conditions that may cause skaters to fall resulting in injury. Professional medics permanently at ice rink to deal with a range of injuries. Minor to major. 8 3 24 P.S 8 8 64 Ice marshals permanently on rink during session to: Assist fallen skaters, ensure one direction of skating is maintained (anticlockwise), alert medics to injured skaters, ensure skaters are not skating recklessly/offer skating advice to beginners. Keep ice free from debris or any objects that may cause skaters to fall. Professional medics permanently at ice rink to deal with a range of injuries. However ice skating is the primary activity of the ice rink. Therefore making it impossible to remove the hazard/risk totally. Risk not adequately controlled. Activity of wheelchair users and able –bodied skates together not safe due to not being able to Keep ice free from any objects/equipment, static/non static items and debris not associated with general ice skating conditions that may cause skaters to fall resulting in injury.
