Waterguard Home 5 Step Installation Guide

Controlling WATERGUARD from the Valve Controller.
In the event of loss of power to the valve controller, it will
continue to work normally on battery power for some months.
To conserve battery power the controller will not be able to
communicate with the remote display or reset switch.
Connections to Alarm in and Alarm out continue normally.
After loss of mains power
and low battery the
controller will close the
valve before shut down.
Pushing the small black button on the controller will switch
between...
Open valve in High Guard confirmed by 1 beep & flash, the next
push select Low Guard confirmed by 2 beeps & 2 flashes;
The next push will close valve confirmed by 3 beeps and
3 flashes. The next push takes you back to High Guard.

Five Step Installation Guide
The residential solution to water leak prevention.
Manual Override WATERGUARD Home.
The manual override should
only be used in an emergency,
to restore the water supply
when the controller is
damaged or there has been a
long term loss of mains power.
When the valve is closed, turn
the brass knob clockwise until
the water supply is restored.
On the valve, right, rotate the
whole coil head as shown.
Add another Remote Display
Two or more remote displays or remote reset switches may
talk to one valve controller. To twin a remote with a display,
push the button on the controller for 7 seconds and release
and the controller will beep rapidly. Push the centre button on
the new remote to wake and twin. Once completed, the display will show the time value in current use.
