Stimulation Fluid Additive CWF-311 Multi-Purpose Foaming Agent CWF-311 is a blend of different, complex, alcohol-ether-sulfates that foams in fresh or hard water and saturated brine water. CWF-311 produces large volumes of stable foam even in the presence of oil and up to a temperature of 177ºC (350ºF). Applications Features, Advantages and Benefits Foam fracturing - in nitrogen generated foam to provide sandtransport and fluid loss control Highly effective foaming agent producing half-life readings of over 5 minutes in fresh water and over 3 minutes in saturated brine Air-foam drilling - as an aid in removing water and drill cuttings from the wellbore Works in fresh or hard water, saturated brines, and in the presence of oil contamination Highly biodegradable Effective temperature range up to 177ºC (350ºF) Usage Physical Properties Appearance: Gold Liquid Ionic Charge: Anionic Specific Gravity: 1.07-1.08 Density: 8.92-9.01 lbs/gal Flash Point: >93°C (>200°F) Freeze Point: -20°C (-4°F) pH (neat): 6.0-8.0 Solubility in Water: Complete Packaging: 485 lb (220 kg) drums Normal concentration range is 1-5 3 gal/1000 gallons (1-10 L/m ) as a surfactant and 5-15 gal/1000 gallons (5-15 L/m3) as a foamer Please refer to MSDS for handling instructions Engineered Chemistry® Weatherford products and services are subject to the Company’s standard terms and conditions, available on request or at www.weatherford.com.
